  1. Udderfly, Grab me one of those boxes as well. I could organize the 18 or so (lost count as there were so many this year) 30"+ Brown trout in my freezer with it, should work perfectly.
  2. Here you go. With a Jiffy marker you could write "rod holder" on the side to make it custom.
  3. Huh? I am sure ther are Edmontonians that frequent this website...
  4. I store them in my mud room closet leaning in the corner. I suppose their could be something better, but for 8 or so tubes this works fine. A storage device to store a storage device seems redundant to me.
  5. You consider this double ended fish "a joke"?
  6. Nice fish.
  7. A trailer hitch and a couple more $K and problem solved. A small Jon or even an older drift boat.
  8. Calgarians. twgaf
  9. I have been following this campaign fairly closely and I would say it was not staged. I am no Higgins fan, but I say good on her for standing up to what McCourt had to say. There is a way to ask the difficult questions, this interviewer failed.
  10. Hey bud, not really doubting your numbers, could give a rats azz if it was 20, 50, 500. Good on you. You post some valuable info on here, great reports, and I am sure most, as I hold most of what you have to say in high regard. This is the reason I have been holding your feet to the fire on this as it is truly confusing and one of the most condescending posts based on your other posts to say the least. I will leave it at this.
  11. You say that SW rivers such as the Oldman are getting too much pressure- lack of big fish is your anecdotal evidence. You say that there should be a fishing moratorium on said streams, for as long as 5 years if I remember correctly. Then you proceed to kick the snot out of it by catching 400+ cutties in a day, the majority small ones. I have no problem with someone that wants to lobby to get an area closed down based on the reasons you have stated in other posts. I have no problem with someone that catches lots of fish in a good day. I have a problem when a person claims a public resource is being abused then the same person makes claims such as yours. Can you see the hypocrisy in this?? oops- almost forgot
  12. You definately don't have to worry about me lying about catching 400+ fish in a day. I would probably just hike, take pictures, or take a nap under a tree after the first couple dozen or so. You were the one calling for a fishing moratorium for the water off of the FTR? Oldman, Racehorse, Livingstone because you were worried about the decline in the number of fish you catch in these waters. Too much pressure on the fishery if I remember correctly... Different strokes for different folks...
  13. well on the rare occasion I have gotten into double digits I call it a good day As I only remember the numbers if I only catch a few. Saying I caught 23, 70, 300+ ?? C'mon now try to keep track of a basketball game score without a score keeper, same deal. I wonder if fishing just happens to attract exaggerators or you start to exaggerate after you become a fisherman? Chicken or egg debate I guess.. The guys that work in fishing stores must have to gear up and put on major bullshit deflectors!
  14. Please cite your "facts" in regard to Organic operators having equal or better yield of non-organic.
  15. Organic; Uses twice the land mass for 1/2 the production. If we all decided to eat organic it would be a problem. This must be the reason why a pound of organic apples or berries cost over double!
  16. Great story hiketofish!
  17. Your avatar is fitting..
  18. Ever been to Victoria BC? Did you flush a toilet when you were there?
  19. Were they registered? But anyways tell me how the registry could have reduced this number? Gun crime has actually increased since the introduction of the registry- with unregistered handguns mostly.
  20. "insert broken record here" There is definately a probelm with a few rogue quadders, but the "real" issue lies with the gross lack of enforcement and maybe tougher laws for the lawbreakers when they are caught. If one of these hillbillies knew a buddy who had his quad confiscated because he was ripping up a creek maybe things would change. First things first; proper enforcement is the only thing that will change this. Lack of enforcement equates no rules. The "real" problem is our current Provincial Government.
