The "premium plugs" comment makes me wonder a bit.. Not sure about the newer Taco's, but the 3rd gen 4Runner's were EXTREMELY finicky with spark plugs - NGK or Denso - and single electrode only! Everything else = horror stories.

That's horrible. My 99 4Runner with the 3.4L V6 and 4 speed automatic got 21 combined. I'd get online (yotatech.com) and start doing some searches for "improving fuel economy" for your generation of truck. A few things come to mind.. cleaning the throttle body, cleaning the MAF sensor, and changing the fuel and air filters. New spark plugs wouldn't hurt either.. Hijack over.

My '99 4Runner was a sweet fishing vehicle.. if I was to do one thing different, I would find one that has the optional electronic rear differential locker. Why? Surprisingly enough.. I did get it on some weird angles a few times where 4x4 did me no good because one of the tires was off the ground and just spinning. Take off the running boards.. put a set of 33's on it.. and you're good to go pretty much anywhere you wanna go. *edit* I shouldn't have posted this.. damn those SOB's that stole it and wrecked it on me!!

Hold on now... 3 down is "guy who can't catch fish on the Bow".. so that's 'B'irchy for sure.. 5 down is "guy who's wife caught a bigger brown trout that almost everybody on FFC ever has on her FIRST float trip".. so that's 'T'routslayer.. huh.. 4 across must be BBT then...

I've recently become addicted to Crossword Puzzles.. not sure where that came from. What are the "rules"? Are you allowed to look up the definition of words that are in the hints? Say 4 across says: "who is the ugliest person on FFC?", and the answer is 3 letters.. Am I allowed to look up the definition of "the" in order to correctly answer - SJW?

Rick, I'm just wondering whether or not you feel like you're a better person now that you've "condescended" and corrected people in a thread that was clearly intended to be humorous? Is your world going to be a better place now? What about you James? After posting this, do you feel better about yourself? From what I've read, I understand you're a guide. Most guides I know are very professional, but you seem to be an exception to the rule with your "bring it on" tagline and personal attacks. Do me a favor.. PM me your info so I can make sure to never put a cent in your pocket. Disclaimer: I don't know Maxwell really.. never been on the water with him.. but I have talked to him a few times. He speaks english perfectly fine.. typing it is a different story.
