I'd settle for this moron to put it into road way systems around Calgary that acutally work. Deerfoot should be 4 lanes both ways MINIMUM not 2 lanes to 3 back to 2 then back to 3 then back to 2 etc. How about sending his city planners to the USA for a road trip on the interstate systems and see how they move. Get that ring road done even if it means building OVER or UNDER the indians.

Just buy a bunch of different colors. I find the mountain midge works the best. Red, beadhead with silver ribs. Size 18-22. Smaller the better.

I ended up fishing Emerson Lakes. Beautiful lake. I caught 55 brookies all about 8 inches long. Was kinda fun......blew a tire on the way back to the rig. Cool cuz i like spending money.

Im stuck up here for the next few days. Im very close to sundance provincial park. I'm going to streamer fish the Athabasca. Anyone have any other recommendations? I brought my entire fleet of flies so im pretty sure I have at least one of everything, but I could just streamer fish the entire time. Hopin to get a trophy grayling or bull.

Max and I caught cutthroats with 20lb test attached to stimmys. Leader shy my ass. Now the Bow river they are a bit smarter. The fish, not Calgarians.

I use straight 8lb maxima for nymphing. For the smaller streams I use 5 or 6lb straight maxima. Hell I even use it for dries on small streams. Im not much of a dry fly fisherman though.

Yah what toolman said. You have to horse the fish in. If you're nymphing with anything less than 8lb test, you're gonna have a problem (in my opinion). This way just keep turning him away from the current. Now when they start swimming directly toward you..........thats when the fun starts. If you hear big F BOMBS on the river bank one day.......thats when you know i've lost a biggun.
