Guys you are forgetting that orvis has "his" method. We have ours. There is no arguement really. If someone comes and judges you streamside ............ then i'm pretty sure there will be an arguement. Yes back to the fish porn already. I will also be moderating more heavily. If you see your post edited with the words (PLEASE READ THE FORUM RULES) This means you have broken one of the rules. I guess we've been a bit loose with the moderating and its creating animosity. I do not favor anyone here on this board, there is not "core group". Look both Brent and Tako brought it on themselves. How come I can go around being respectful of others? Is it because i'm 34? When I was 18 and younger I was 10 times more respectful than those 2. Hell and i'm only using 10% of my brain (if that). They are both smart guys and it disappoints me that they are gone. Its fine if he knows a ton about fishing and conservation. So do countless others here on the board. When it all boils down to EVERYTHING, we just like to fish with fly or without. The board is here as a resource. I belong to a huge board called beyond.ca and its gone so far down hill because of the lack of respect. I really really hope that doesn't happen here. We as moderators are people too and we make mistakes. Again I invite anyone here to send me a PM regarding TAKO and his banning. I say 3/4 of us mods voted for the ban. The other mod was absent.

He was more disruptive than good. If he chooses to get another account and change his attitude than fine. I can't catch every post with negativity, nor do I EVER want to ban anyone. But if you guys saw my inbox of complaints about this person than you would change your minds as well. There we're many PM's going on in the back ground. Also if theres a problem please feel free to hit the REPORT button to send to us moderators. Again I invite anyone to PM me an argument as to why we should unban him. Smitty does bring up some good points and we can all take a lesson from this thread. I'm not sure which brings more arguments, bull trout threads or Calgary vs. Edmonton NHL threads.

Myself along with others welcome a debate, but whenever Tako or whoever else become disrespectful it pisses most of us off. Sure Glen could have done it another way but he chose not to. Even if one of us did fish for bulls off the redds, it isn't illegal. Most of us think its wrong. So the way everyone responded was great. It sparked a debate even with glen being a bit late on his delivery. Everyone is entitled to be wrong a few times in their lives (hell according to women i'm wrong 100% of the time.)

If I don't PM you by saturday it means im knees deep packing up my house gettin ready for yet another move. You know no matter what the water condition is the fishing is 75% confidence and 25% skill, but usually it takes an hour of not catching for my confidence to approach 0. Either pack up or move. BigBrown Just because those were caught with sjw's whilst raining and runoff doesn't mean I can't catch em any time of year. Its just that my confidence for catching big fish is high. My second biggest was caught on a #14 weevil with 6lb test. Using 20 means I don't snap em off and leave a hook in their mouth. They're all released and caught again the next year. I've caught the same fish 3 years in a row now down at 22x.

I'd fish streamers as your best bet. Its the most fun from a drift boat. That's what i'm going to try out sundee. River goes brown, they get brave.

I'd row the whole way if you want for next time. Hell i'll even play guide.

For all of you who want to know. Tako had been banned for being disruptive to others 1 too many times. I've had several requests, gave him a chance, and still nothing good. So good bye and good luck. If he registers with an alias we'll find him again and again. A special note to all. Its very difficult to get banned from this site. He is the first one in 4 years.
