I ended up fishing Emerson Lakes. Beautiful lake. I caught 55 brookies all about 8 inches long. Was kinda fun......blew a tire on the way back to the rig. Cool cuz i like spending money.

Im stuck up here for the next few days. Im very close to sundance provincial park. I'm going to streamer fish the Athabasca. Anyone have any other recommendations? I brought my entire fleet of flies so im pretty sure I have at least one of everything, but I could just streamer fish the entire time. Hopin to get a trophy grayling or bull.

I think the blue/white is for remote turn on for an amp. Just leave it out and see if the stereo works as is. Sometimes theres a power antenna wire too. There is usually some left over. I can finish the install but i charge 150 an hour.

I ATV for sport and love doing it. I stay on all trails, only cross streams with bridges and pick up beer cans when I see em. Does this make me a bad person? I for one have seen just about every creek in the Mclean area and they are all FULL of trout. Now there are probably more people that abuse their rights out there than the legal folk like me. What I think they should do is have people buy permits to go offroading in that area or other areas for that matter. 50 bucks a year or so and 150 for violators who don't have their stamp. This would raise funds for damages done and help to rebuild. Now I heard they were working on trails out there as well to make it better so people don't have to go through the bush to go around "the bad spots" Anyway, there are other hobbies out there than fly fishing. I race my bike on the track, drive a big SUV because I need it, and go ATV'n. This does not make me a bad person, but ............................This is one man's opinion.

Around Calgary may prove to be difficult. You can only access very few lakes via ATV but only in the winter time. Hiking and horseback if you wanna go remote.

I'd try lower Kananaskis lakes or upper. Theres a campground there. If you want offroading go out to mclean creek by bragg creek or waiprous area off highway 40.

Yah it will Tako. I have a quad and rip around. Doesn't mean im doing anything wrong. If you are in designated areas and on legal trails its all good. Usually you have to quad in during the winter and fly fish.

When Cardboard Men Come In Handy Lynn's car gets a flat on the deerfoot one day. Lynn eases it over onto the shoulder of the road, carefully steps out of the car and opens the trunk. She takes out two cardboard men, unfolds them and stands them at the rear of the vehicle facing oncoming traffic. The lifelike cardboard men are in trench coats exposing their nude bodies and private parts to approaching drivers. Not surprisingly, the traffic becomes snarled and backed up. It isn't very long before a CPS police car arrives. The officer, clearly enraged, approaches Lynn's car yelling, 'What's going on here?' 'My car broke down, officer' says the Lynn calmly 'Well, what the hell are these obscene cardboard pictures doing here by the road?' he asks. 'Helllooooooo!!!!' says Lynn.
