AJ Very sorry to hear about your ruined day, and more importantly the ruin expectations and view of your son. I am very sure I would not have handled the situation as well as you, I have a bad habit of jumping on peoples throats with both feet if they mess with my family, above all my kids.. I can think of no better times I had with my sons then sitting on a dock with them and their little ice fishing rods, red and whites, perfect for kids starting out.. and their shear joy of the day, being with Dad.. They are all fly fishers now, but that is by there own choice, and I make no judgment as long as they follow all rules and regs.. Plse keep gently trying to get your son back to the fold so to speak, you and he will not be sorry..

If I am not wrong Muskrats are vegetarian. On Sheep creek near Grande Cache, I came around a bend in the creek and saw a large Bull trout circling another bull Trout that was nose down about two feet from the shore, I used my fly rod to move the trout that was nose down, the shore was very steep , I grabbed the bull trout by the tail , all the while thinking WTF, in the back of the trouts mouth was a very big spoon with barbed trebles, and bait... I took this out and tried to revive this fish, it was a female, all the while the male was just about a foot away, she would not revive I released her and the male came back to circle around her , I kept the spoon and reported it to the CO I saw at the bridge on highway 43, I have thought of this over and over and over, did I do the right thing no matter what type of fish it was, there are some large grayling and bows in that creek, the answer I have come up with is yes, return the fish to the river and its partner. FWIW.

It is the consistency that get me, The Tim Horton coffee is the only one that is consistent, the rest you never know if you are going to get fresh or burnt.. I usually try all the others and even the independents and it just turned out that TH was the most consistent

$10.CND that is about how much a starsucks double expresso nonfat double foam, double cream, tofu carmel syrup shot triple stirred vente costs.. even $2 is more then a normal Timmies cost.. But and there is always a but - I agree the Rollllllllllllllllllll up the rim garbage thing is bad, they should give you a free coffee if you return the rolled up cup instead of putting it the ditch..

The lids on The Profit Tims cups is recyclable.. I think (I have not been there, in years and then only for a plain coffee ) but StarSucks cups are a form of Styrofoam ? that soft dimply stuff is just plastic ? The flavouring stuff is nothing but trans fat filled artificial flavouring, so SturBlecks is trying to kill their customers...and yes here is an Starsmucks appropriate gay poky thing

WRONG but right too. Starbucks is a gimmick, an American placebo, an artificial flavouring, they give away the grounds because they don't have to pay to have them hauled away some dumpsters are payed by weight others by frequency of emptying.. .. The grounds are good compost and where needs good compost more then at the dump.. Tim Hortons is doing the environment a favor, the non bleached filters minor.. I would rather fresh paper then somebodies recycled snot rag. .Have you seen what really goes into a recycle bin ewww. More damage done by The Canadian Fly Fishers glossy mag then flimsy coffee filters.. I would rather a waxed paper cup it will break down just slower.. then a plastic reusable cup that gets thrown in the dumpnever to break down , i or the fancy styro cups that some other places use. plus the cost of manufacturing and the resources used but the strip mining thing s way out there... Staryucks coffee has to be flavoured to cover the taste of that crap.. you should see the look on the face of one of them when you ask for a regular black coffee, they know it is going to taste sucky so they ask you if you want the flavour stuff..

HAHAHAHAHHA Neil.. I am very new to Pheasant hunting and have yet to knock one down.. GHT.. I was hunting a single 16ga just got a Pump.. love my Ruffies.. This thing is about lack of respect. The guy deserves no sympathy. He made a choice! clear and simple.
