  1. But how do they make your butt look? Maybe Lynn could give a review. I think that is the most important part of the fly fishing "look" besides leaving the price tag on your equipment.
  2. Ah, but making them rise is so much more satisfying.
  3. Ya, just swimming sticks there now. They are very educated and picky (but have a weakness).
  4. Pics taken through my dirty glasses:

You gotta love a fish that any 8 yr old could catch on a dry...and then catch them again the next day. Heck even old, bald, blind guys like me can catch these things. It is such a pleasure to sit on the shore and watch them eat bugs. Even if they're not too energetic in the fighting department, they sure are purtty to look at.
  6. I grew up fishing the river on the south side in that area. About 30 years ago there was a fall when there was a band of bull elk over there. No elk ranches, just some lonely guys on the search for love.
  7. A big Alberta rainbow for your birthday...now that's a good present. Enjoy your fall bug slinging.
  8. Several 8-10lb fish in the Bow...wow, who knew!
  9. You just need to know where to look
  10. This guy was attacking Mule deer, luckily I had some bait

Great Steelhead Dustin. How was the fight?

    Nice lookin' slabs.
  15. Looks like an awesome tool you have there for exercising fish. Fine looking trutta
  16. Good show Connie. Nice fat, colorful brown. Water looks like it is just roaring by the bank
  17. I've been stuck fishing stupid lakes for tiny fish...no spey rod for me since April. Spey rod in a float tube, that would be something new. Maybe it would be good for long leaders. My spey experience is extremely limited
  18. Just a rubber jig I use on my Flippin' stick. There's no secret flies...just how/where you use them
  19. Smitty you are too generous...more like 5lb
  20. Congrats...a true native Bow river trophy
  21. Looks great. How deep were you hanging your bugs?
  22. Great lesson to see where the fish hang out for those who need to learn to read the water. Looks like some fine bobber fishing. Love the spots on the brown.
  23. Awesome Brookie. Nice trophy for pond fishing.
