You gotta love a fish that any 8 yr old could catch on a dry...and then catch them again the next day. Heck even old, bald, blind guys like me can catch these things. It is such a pleasure to sit on the shore and watch them eat bugs. Even if they're not too energetic in the fighting department, they sure are purtty to look at.

I grew up fishing the river on the south side in that area. About 30 years ago there was a fall when there was a band of bull elk over there. No elk ranches, just some lonely guys on the search for love.

I've been stuck fishing stupid lakes for tiny fish...no spey rod for me since April. Spey rod in a float tube, that would be something new. Maybe it would be good for long leaders. My spey experience is extremely limited
