Sounds like an adventure. Next year is my year to hunt a moose though. Had a nice 6x6 come close this year, but he winded me before a shot opportunity arose. One day.... Ended up with a big 5 last week

I follow the Sculpin hatch from the Milk river north to Ft. McMurray each spring. It is all about temperature and barometric pressure and takes some experience to key in on the signs to know when to move. I wish this guy would stop giving all the secrets away.

Great pic. First time I went up there we went to the valley south of there to find a great meadow with no lake...oppps. Scurried north along the scree to get to the lake. Little Loomis to the NE of Loomis doesn't have any fish I understand.

But how do they make your butt look? Maybe Lynn could give a review. I think that is the most important part of the fly fishing "look" besides leaving the price tag on your equipment.

Ya, just swimming sticks there now. They are very educated and picky (but have a weakness).

You gotta love a fish that any 8 yr old could catch on a dry...and then catch them again the next day. Heck even old, bald, blind guys like me can catch these things. It is such a pleasure to sit on the shore and watch them eat bugs. Even if they're not too energetic in the fighting department, they sure are purtty to look at.

I grew up fishing the river on the south side in that area. About 30 years ago there was a fall when there was a band of bull elk over there. No elk ranches, just some lonely guys on the search for love.

Send a message to member adc, he has been a number of times. Lots of small bonefish in Belize. Tan shrimp seem to work everywhere. Smaller hooks like #8 or #10 might be in order for little bones

I just tested my Panasonic TS3 out in the salt. Rinsed with freshwater afterward and all is well so far: Blue fin trevally
