I would agree with that. I like how Gagner looks on the top line. He just needs to get the monkey off his back and start scoring again. Penner is back in the line up due to the loss of Pisani to a broken ankle, hopefully his attitude has changed and he'll kick some ass tonight. But time will tell.

I saw Kelley Hrudey coming out of the Seanachie in the SW once. He is short. Then again, I'm 6'2", so even if he were 5'11", he'd look short to me. But I don't think he's 5'11". What the "stats" say and what he really is, could easily be two different things.

My wife's great aunt was out visiting for Thanksgiving, and was super impressed that I was starting fly fishing. Had a great visit with her, hopefully her enthusiasm for fly fishing rubbed off a bit on my wife, but after she left to go back home with the rest of my wife's family, I didn't really give it much more thought. I really wanted Gagner to score in the Shootout, he needs to find the net and soon, or this kid is gonna crumble. Cogliano was SO close to winning in OT, but just trickled wide. Really entertaining game tonight, lots of back and forth. Not really sure I like all the shots they have been giving up lately, but man has Deslaurier been FANTASTIC! This kid really is the future for the Oil.

Yeah, that was a BS call, but I hightly doubt it was an order from the commissioner to keep the game close. It was a hell of an entertaining game though! Lot's of back and forth action from both sides. birchy's right, it could have easily been 10-6. A night of crazy games back to back. First Edmonton tries to come back from being down 5-0 vs. the Pens to come up short 5-4 in the third, then you have a HUGE blow out going only to end up 7-6. Crazy night of hockey!

Loubardias usually did the Junior coverage last couple years. The AHL, OHL, CHL games. He also covered a bit for Kevin Quinn on a few Oilers broadcasts last year. Millions did the play by play for the Flames the last few years. This is Loubardias' first year as the full time play by play guy for the Flames.
