  1. I would PM you a pic but i don't know how.I have peaces 6-7" wide by 1-2'.this is what it looks like with some stain and polyurethane on it
  2. Nice work have you done any trout?I have some peaces of quarter cut oak that you can have.
  3. Ha ha i just noticed that this is in ask the pros,my wife says I'm a pro does that count? I think if you have a nice smooth connection between leader and fly line and a knot less leader and you have your rod at a low angle to the fish your OK.
  4. The Carp show, looked like fun.I think he said that because they where using like 15#tippet.Also he instructed Bill to keep the rod low and apply side pressure.Remember last year you hooked a fish and we where having trouble trying to land it because your leader was so long, and as soon as you pulled the leader in it broke(i may have told you that it was ok).I have noticed on my old rods that i never had a problem bringing the nail knot into my guides. However with my sage Z rods even my leader knots are hanging up on the guides. So maybe its the rod angle or the type of guides you have.
  5. A 1032 jon or goggle pram or punt boats.

  10. So far this year i have seen more anglers then in the past, and as the year goes on we will see more.We will see more boats too ,people that have bought boats in the last 5 or so years now have time to use them.Guys that like to golf and fish will be fishing more rather then playing golf. I think that the guiding community will loose a few trips from the locals but i think it will hold its own because people have more time and remember talking a guided trip on the bow is probably pretty high on most out of town fly fishers lists. Myself i plan to fish more too, good thing i have all what i need and will only have to pay for gas for a full day of entertainment.
