Things are so much better when you make them yourself. I've got some ideers just need a basket of some sort.

I remember seeing a show with Phil,he mentioned adding a little water to the bottom of the basket while in a boat.It kept the line moist and helped with distance. Anybody make there own?I figure i would just put a Simms sticker on it and it would look like i paid $100 for it.

Can't say I've ever saw one on the Bow.I would think they would work well and also save your fly line. I guess the only downside is there size and probably not to comfortable for long walks. Any thoughts?

Thanks for idea's fellows.I'm starting to think what i really need is a pedestal so my vise isn't on the edge of the desk,then the droppings stay on top.

Not a real pro here but I've had that too,starts out cutting well then at a certain depth it stops.I always thought it was the shavings getting in the way so i clean out the hole by hand.Sometimes helps. Get one of those adapters so you can use a cordless drill they work great.With a powerful enough drill you can push pretty hard and drill 20" deep holes no problem.Bass Pro has them.

I'm making a new tying desk and was wondering what guys use for garbage?I'm thinking of using a deepish Tupperware container flush mounted at the back of the desk top.Anybody have something like this?Or do you favor the bag under the vise thing? Any ideas on this?

Ya i no its crazy.Just sick of hearing about shite like this. You would think that security would be up at this time of year and it wouldn't be possible to board a plane with something strapped to your leg. I really hope they get some info from this guy and arrest anybody else that may have been involved. Tungsten thinks any person who is involved with terrorism should have there nuts cut off.

I say anybody who was born in Afghanistan should not be allowed to fly on commercial airlines.They can get there own dam planes.

Why would it be poaching?The fish may have bin released.Don't be so quick to judge you don't no the full story. It also appears the fish has bin snagged since theres no hooks in its mouth. So i guess it is flyfishing. (Tongue placed firmly in cheek)
