I think Rio gold, Its just what your use too i guess.No doubt a 6 -7 would be easier for streamer fishing.

I have a 590 Z, my go to Bow river rod it roll casts a nymph rig very easily.I can also cast a heavily weighted double streamer rig with it no problem. If your fishing the Crow and smaller 6wt Z is too much.

It looks like we have 20 people,I'll ask again at the beginning of April to confirm that everybody is in.Happy fishing.

6 weeks ago there was nothing wrong with the Flames,they were playing well.Now they suck,same players same coach nothing has changed on the outside anyway.I think something was going on in the locker room.

A couple of years ago i switched to using more side pressure in rivers,changing from side to side.I think its helped my landing percentages. Last year lake fishing i was having trouble moving fish off bottom,i kept trying to lift the rod. Once i pointed the rod more at the fish it was much easier to move them.

Yes and if there is any ties then it will go to who ever won the match between each other. I wouldn't what to see forfits,I guess by mid Sept if matches haven't been completed then something will have to be done.Could just call them a tie too.

So what do we do about people on holidays? Do they make up there matches when they have time.What about when people fall 4 or 5 matches behind and can't seem to get caught up?LOL I can see it now,Husband to wife.I have to fish every night this week to get caught up in the league is that OK. So I've got 16 that have said there in and some that haven't directly said there in.So 20 should be no prob. If weather is decent enough I would like to start 3rd week of April.If not then 1st week of May.We should have a big snow storm by then.So either way it will be cold for the first 2-3 matches.This way playoffs can begin mid to end of Sept.

No prob,you would have to do 2 matches then on your 6 days off.

You will no 1 week in advance who your fishing against,I would like to have most fish on Wednesdays or whatever day (better chance of running into other fishers then)But if that day doesn't work then PM the other fisher and make arragements.You'll have a week to do it.

The whole idea is to have FUN,meet people and learn a little.Keep the rules as simple as possible so we don't have any problems. I thought the no indi and one fly would make it challenging.But after some thought there might be allot of skunks and that is no fun.So as long as its legal your good to go.No reason for arguments then either. As far as when goes,I guess we could notify everyone by Monday of there matches then they have 6 days to complete there match.Not everyone can fish the same time i guess so this would help.People could PM each other and work out a time. I would think 3 hours would be a good amount of time,gives time to walk and look around.
