I'll guess 6-8 hrs pending on the wind.The river is very slow in some spots and an east wind can blow you around.Leave early.

Just an idea.Could we not enter FFC.and any prises won could go to the stream watch auction? Or have 5 or 6 individuals enter,if they win 250$gift certificates.would be a nice donation. Just throwing it out there.

I agree, lots of SIMPLE signs.I no there not that nice to look at but you have to make it so a 10 yr old can understand them.I once caught a guy fishing over the fence into the fish ladder at Carseland,not 2' from the sign that said no fishing within 25Meters of fishway.His answer was he didn't no that was a fishladder.

I had one in my garage years ago when most of my rods didn't come with cases.It looked like a pool cue rack more or less.I think it ended up in the fire pit.

After loosing a rod to the Bow and breaking another in the past year it was time to build some sort of rod locker. This is what i came up with. I used 3/4 plywood since i wanted it to be strong enough to stand and sit on. I was thinking of using plastic pipe to hold the rods but since i had lots of scrap wood and carpet i used them. I found this hinge which works good as a lid stay it also slows the door down when closing. I'm happy with the way it turned out it also makes a great place to put your feet up onto and sit back and relax.Hopefully no more broken or damaged rods.

Right on dune,congrats. Don't get me wrong but flossing for them doesn't really count. Hehe,waiting for pics of said fish.

I don't own a spey rod but i have had luck swinging a black leech this time of year.

I don't live at any of these lakes but often fish as a guest. I think the community should supply large nets.This would help in the proper release of these fish.
