If your on gravel then carpet or the like will work.My wife p/u some sort of weaved looking mat this allows the grass to stay alive underneath and is real easy to clean.It also doesn't hold water.Not sure where she got it but I've had both kinds of mats and by far this is the best one.

So are more matches happening this weekend?Just wondering thats all.

The first time i weighed a trout i guessed 3lbs, it was 1.75 lbs.I don't weigh fish either 24" sounds more impressive. Back in the day i landed one of those Crawling Valley Res, hogs It taped out at 28" if i remember right and it weighed 14lbs.Im sure alot of people remember those hogs they were pretty fat.

Well lets hope that changes this year. I'm sure nobody has a problem with you using a switch.

I talked about that way back when this first started.Nobody said anything. What i wanted to avoid was people using spey or switch rods(not that there's anything wrong with that) So if your the only guy that wants to fish with a 10' plus rod then i say suck it up and deal with it You can use it when you fish with me but you have to bring the beer.

I think you have 4.1 and 4.4 mixed up.One should only change pointy thing after its bin up and down awhile.

No one said anything about rules. There really isn't any hard rules.If you touch the leader (9') its landed.I would think everyones OK with foul hooked fish counting, it happens.Trout only. If anyone else can think of anything please feel free to bring it up.

We've had a drop out #17. Should we just leave the schedule the way it is and you get a bye when you play #17 or i can make a new one. My thoughts are leave it.Since its me who plays #17 next week. The other day my wife and I went into town and went into a shop. We were only in there for about 5 minutes. When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket. We went up to him and said, 'Come on man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?' He ignored us and continued writing the ticket. I called him a Nazi turd. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tires. So my wife called him a *hit-head. He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote. Personally, we didn't care. We came into town by bus and the car had a Quebec sticker. We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired. It's important at our age.

Brown 27 3/8 measured have landed larger but i have no idea how long.Bow around the same,both fish where caught in the spring before the 1995 or 98 whenever it was flood.Haven't landed anything over 26 since.There's always this year.
