Thanks for the kind responses everyone. You know I thought about trying to get this in a magazine somewhere - not for any financial reason - but I just really want to share it with other people who fish. I felt when I wrote this that if it were me reading a magazine, I'd enjoy reading it. But when I looked, the word limit was usually too small, and they normally want specific locations and tactics for readers to become better at the sport. It just doesn't really fit with any guidelines I saw, and really I have no idea how to go about getting the piece published, so I thought the best place to share it was here. And I'm glad that people enjoyed it, that was all I wanted. It makes me happy that something I put together one night gave someone some feelings worth a damn...

Oh, Haha. Yea sorry I didn't catch that! Anyhow, thanks for the compliments... Had a quirky urge to share that with other fisherpeople, but wasn't quite sure if it was an appropriate avenue.. Was curious if others had similar thoughts. Seems like some may.
