  1. Even the fish disapprove of European swimming attire.
  2. A friend of mine had a dog named Buster, a Chocolate Lab, that I hunted behind on many occasions. He went to the other side earlier this year, at a ripe old age. He was a hell of a bird dog..
  3. Not sure how I screwed this one up (High ISO I think.)
  4. Brad got a bit nostalgic.
  5. Some pics. ( As I sit here bored and recover from a late night in the big city and an early morning at work. ) (Silverdoctor, just couldn't pass up the Ghost..)

    June Pics

Nice pics always. You're a good hand with a camera..
  7. Awesome..
  8. Awesome pics. Disappearing west for a few days starting Wed. Can't wait.
  9. Awesome pics.
  10. I think that may be right.. They seemed to have no difficulty under water, and would cover quite a distance. Just staying under must be tough for a large bird like that. Injured bird would probably have a tough time with that I'd think. I was definitely looking twice to see a goose dive and swim submerged, not once, but twice, for sure..
  11. Possible, didn't want to pressure it too much so I didn't get too close. But, to have 2 separate birds do the same thing kind of made me think not. Couldn't see anything wrapped around either through the camera.
  12. .
  13. Under it went. (First one.)
  14. Swimming, body submerged. (Second one.)
  15. Was out for a bit today, saw something that had me doing a double take. Saw a splash ahead of me, wasn't really paying attention, assumed it was a riser. Was looking out on the water and saw the "riser" pop up, it was a goose. Swam really low in the water, so I motored a little closer to make sure it was a goose, and splash, under it went. Popped up again, same deal. Would stay under a bit, and cover a good distance under water. Figured it was wounded or something, (no young nearby, seen them swim low with goslings around..) so I kept my distance. Heading back in, about 10 minutes later, same thing.. (no, not the same bird..) Never seen that before.
  16. Awesome. You've got a good eye..
  17. Had to watch a few more times.. Badass.
