  1. Christ I can't remember his name but there's a feed salesman who lives in the Hat, owns a river jet and loves to fish for sturgeon. He told me he helped SRD tag a bunch in Rattlesnake
  2. What, for sturgeon? I'll bring the Dupont...
  3. Rattlesnake Reservoir is supposed to be full of them
  4. I use a Hot Shot on the real recalcitrant ones. Works better than verbally offerin' to pull their liver outta their anus.
  5. High season for repairs, sent one in last winter and had it back in 3 weeks.
  6. Sage has a very good warranty program. They're pretty good it even if you're not the original owner.
  7. Now now Peter I never once complained about you
  8. fixed it for ya..*hit ain't that hard to spell
  9. Check out the lakes in the Narrow Hills area Meadow Lake...there's tigers in them thar hills
  10. Buy some in the States, twice the capsaicin than allowed in Canada
  11. That reminds me, hafta put in a fly order
  12. The Americans are light years ahead of where we are in terms of recovery efforts although that's slowly changing. Too many people and organizations have the opinion that the Bow, the Crow and Bullshead are the gold standard.
  13. You boyz fish in different places than I do, I usually have to burn a 1/4 of gas just to find a cell phone signal.
  14. Doesn't havin' a phone with you whilst fishin' kinda defeat the purpose of goin' fishin' in the first place???????????
  15. Watch where you're wading in the high country small natal tribs, the cutts are still spawnin'.
  16. Carpenters are almost as cool as professional cattle hoof trimmers
  17. What's the total thickness of the inserts? The threaded portion of the hardbites are a smidge over 10 mm from the base to the tip.
  18. Hell I'm still fishin' RPLs, maybe it's time to upgrade to XPs
  19. I resemble that remark
  20. Which could be why my catch rate is so gawdamned poor in friggin lakes
  21. I'm lazy, double or triple surgeon's loop
  22. PataGucci has a good name and boot but in spite of some people's cakeholin' in 20 yrs I've never gone wrong Simms. Last pair lasted 7-800 days and I routinely walk 5 to 10 k back to the truck
  23. Guess I'll find out by this fall, I bought a pair last Sept.
  24. The Provincial Building in Cochrane or TU office in Calgary and then one supervised outing on Quirk Creek
  25. Fiberglass, probably cast a line weight lighter than marked using modern lines. If it were a 8 foot or shorter 5wt Parametic it would be a highly desired rod for a vintage rod nut but being a heavier longer rod in good shape maybe 50-60 bucks on evilbay maybe 75 on a good day. Make a helluva bass rod though, the warmwater boys seem to like them.
