Slyangler Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Hey Tungsten, You might want to check out Micheals. They have the best selection of markers(sharpie, prismacolor, etc) Ive managed to locate in Calgary. They also have quite a few other items of interest to the fly tier as well. Quote
SilverDoctor Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I find Prismacolor markers come in a great color selection. Still have a lot form my pre computer days as a designer, last for years and years. Quote
proflytyer Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 i have the 30 color sharpie set. They are the way to go wheather you are tying saltwater to trout flys! Quote

beedhead Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I carry a black Sharpie in my vest to blacken the bottom of my indicator when still water fishing so the fish don't come up for it or- it wont spook your elusive picky trout...Seems to work great... Cheers...Jeff.. Quote
headscan Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Try the art place on 16 Ave across from Sait....they might have them.....not sure of the business name off hand If it's the same place I'm thinking of it's Colours Art and Framing. Mona Lisa just off 17th Ave might have them too. Quote
