I don't know about you guys and gals but I love looking at fishing pictures. Sometimes on a winter night I'll look through my fishin pics and remember good times.

Looking at others fishing pics brings back memories for me and tells a story. We can all relate to a shot along a beautiful river or a just a shot of a nice trout. I know personally I don't get nearly as much time to fish, (no one gets enough fishin time!), but looking at fishing pics can remind us of the great times we’ve had.

So post all your memorable shots, a shot that tells a funny story, or a big fish, but especially your favorite memories.

As the quote goes - My favourite fishing is ones that take me to places that are invariably pretty, and away from people who are invariably ugly...That's why my most memorable shots are about the scenery, not the fish porn (not that i don't have thousands of fish porn shots haha..gotta love the landscape and scenery shots for me)

Catching this fish I named "Lisa" for weird reasons helped me through some bad times.

Wow, that's a beauty! I attempted to upload some pics but the board is insisting on images at 100K and none of my images are that small.

One word to desribe those photographs - Stonking!

This is the best effort I can manage with me actually holding a reasonable fish as I am usually on the other end of the camera!

Yep! Those are Doc Martins! I keep getting told by my 25 year old daughter that I am too old to wear Docs - what does she know?

And for the tackle tarts among you,

the rod is a Bloke XL50 9' #6,

the jacket is the new one from Bloke,

the waistcoat a Grey's GRXI medium length

and on the legs are 18 year old Barbour leggings!

BBB,

wanna see a real pig? All 10lbs plus! These have been in this lake for years and the feeding thay have there can put 2lbs on a fish in a year. This was one of the originals that the lake was stocked with, current fish are better quality and heavier as well. Current record stands at 16lbs.

My first spring this year. What a fantastic salmon they are.

My first bone fish, I never thought I would encounter a pound for pound better fighter than sockeye salmon, I was wrong. These things are crazy.

One of the few fish I have ever caught on the bow river. You guys keep me in awe. One of these days, I will square it away!

I was lucky this year and got to go on a few floats with some good guys(my Bro plus Harry and Dave) and land some monsters that were my biggest to date.

But all in all it was an awesome year with some old friends and new and with some new water found and the trusty spots paying off.

And who can forget fishing with Max and Dave in -17 weather and catching trout

This is definitely the most unique catch I've ever seen on the Bow. We were fishing in March when the ice was breaking up and this guy must have gone for an unintentional swim. We pulled him out and put him in the wader pouch to dry off and warm up. He didn't want to leave afterwards.
