Hi guys, I see the dam opened up to 200 M/sec, hoping to do a float either tomorrow or Saturday and wanted to know if anyone can comment on the visibility.

About 6-12 inch vis this morning by Fish Creek Park. Should get better by the weekend if flows remain constant or decrease.

Me and the little turkey drove by on our bikes lookes very high and very dirty at like 11:00 am maybe 6" at the very most

I was out last night with the dog. It is officially high. And dirty. It is the first time that I have seen the water at the high-water mark in a very long time. But I also saw lots of fish activity in weird little pockets close to the bank. Visibility was about 20cm.

 

Even though my dog was mucking around, it was the first time this year that he has not stunk like swamp.

The combination of Bow and Elbow River flows today was 230 CMS, double what it was a week ago. Your can see the 3 to 4 day Ghost & Bearspaw Reservoir discharge forecast on the Bow River Trout Website http://www.bowrivertrout.org and go to "River Flows". Expect to see flows in the 200 -250 CMS range until early to mid July.
