monger Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 Great shots. So nice to see some open camping spots up there now that the motorsports folks have left. Quote
Sparkplug Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 Very nice. You like the Radian? Trying to decide between that, and the NRX Quote
BurningChrome Posted August 18, 2017 Author Posted August 18, 2017 Very nice. You like the Radian? Trying to decide between that, and the NRX I may have more than one Radian. Compared it to the NRX, Sage X, Orvis H2, and a few other rods and it was the one that suit my casting style the best. Not everyone likes the look of the Scott blanks because they don't sand or paint them but the fish don't seem to mind. 1 Quote

BurningChrome Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 3x in one day? You must have them all named after the last few months Only twice. Caught on a caddis, next pic is that release, then caught on a trico about 10 minutes later when I was trying to get his buddy a few feet ahead. Quote
BurningChrome Posted October 4, 2017 Author Posted October 4, 2017 Went out for what was probably my last camping trip of the year. Wasn't as quiet as it was during the OHV ban but the beautiful fall scenery helped make up for it. First campfire in months! Luckily I still remembered how to split wood and light a match. Found some fish. This guy broke someone off before I got him. If you want to reclaim your fly, sorry but it slipped out of my fingers and floated away. Ciao! The clouds kept threatening all weekend but other than a shower on Sunday morning it stayed dry. 2 4 Quote
