SilverDoctor Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Stopped into Iron Blue today, thought I would take a few pix (With permission) to post for the curious. Its nice to have a shop that is close to where I live in the NW. They are a supporter of this forum so please support them. Really nice selection of fly gear, equipment, and especially good and a pleasant surprise fly tying materials that are nicely focused to the local and traveling tier. Picked up a nice Simms wading staff that I have been thinking about. Have a look at the gorgeous nets if you are there. Well worth the trip to Dalhousie Station. 3 Quote

Muffin Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Looks like a good shop. Considering I park at Anderson station options that are just too close to argue with. Nice to see another fishing shop in town, hope they stay around. Quote
bigalcal Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 If I owned my own fly shop, I would install a pickup tailgate to the wall for customers to sit on while trying on shoes, waders etc.!! I think it would be cool. 7 Quote
FraserN Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Just bought some fly fishing materials there. It is great to have a fly shop this close to me. Quote

Smitty Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 What's the latest on this flyshop - was curious. Tried googling it, tried google mapping it - nothing. Does it have a website? Is it still open? Wondering, Smitty Quote

Not sure if they have a web site as yet. Quote

Is it still open? Wondering, Smitty I was in the shop last week. Mike said he was in a rush to get the shop open and wanted to make the store just right and put the website off until things slowed down. Same with the grand opening. Once he has the site up and running he will post it. Quote
Current Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 They've got a banner up now with a link to their preliminary website. http://www.ironbowflyshop.com/ Check it out. There are links to product lines, a map of the location, a few pictures, and you can sign up for their newsletter. Not sure why this doesn't show up on Google yet. Quote
