I am certainly thankful for good friends and family. The ability to get out on field and stream and enjoy the fall bounty.

Lornce,you caused me to sit back and think about this. There are so many things that I am thankfull for. Last week I had a trip to Ottawa and had the opportunity to stop by war memorial located close to the Parliment Buildings. There was the grave of The Unknown Soldier at the foot of the memorial. I probably just stood there for a half an hour thinking of all the Unknown Soldiers that gave their lives to allow me and my family the freedoms and lifestyle that we enjoy today.

I could go on for a long time about what I am thankfull for but I'll just list a couple of others.

I am so thankfull for my three beautifully Granddaughters.

I am thankfull to have been married to my best friend, my wife, for 40 years. I look forward to the next 40.

I am thankful for the two happy and healthy kids, if you can call a 38 and 36 year old kids.

My 3 sons are 30 (twins) and 34. I still think of them as kids. Even though the oldest has kids.

Family and friends. The opportunity to live in such a beautiful country. The job that moved me here and allows me the time to do the things I enjoy.The support of this board for various fund raising efforts I have been involved in. All the friends I've met from this little (well, not so little anymore) website.

I'm thankful that I have 3 great healthy kids and a beautiful wife of 20 years and that I now reside in a beautiful part of British Columbia and of course for all the fishing that goes with it!!!!!!!!
