The KKK has been around for a long while. Apparently 80,000 people in Sask. were members @ one point. Alberta had its share of clavens. The local group still resides in Calgary. Here is a copy of the charter. http://http-server.carleton.ca/~warrent/2100/kkk.html The charter was incorporated in the mid-20's if I recall correctly and was re-issued under Lougheed's Conservative Govt. This isnt Alabama and i dont ever remember seeing the local KKK headlining any alberta newspapers ( hell I didint even know we had any in this province until now).Our redneck wingnuts are just smart enough to take advantage of the tax breaks that come with incorporating.
