jumpin on a little late but..i got a pair of simms l2's i believe..junst under 100 bucks...freakin awsome....cheap, durblew as helll with all teh bully hunting and whatnot they still havnt had much more than a few scuffs since last summer when i picked them up....they got killer ankle support too and dont have any seems and fancy stuff too get ripped and torn off like the last 3 pairs i tore through i 2 years...they dotn shrink..have drain holes..dont get all stiff and whatnot if there super dry....freakin love em and wont go back till tehre done...wich may be a few more seasons .....i stuck 2 sheet metal screws in the toes and heels of my boots for a little more traction up and down hills... korkers ahve came a long way and talking too a few of my buddies who own and abused them thisyear they seem too be really durable..they do need maintnance tho..simple stuff liek cleaning out the tracks that the soles slide into and such...usualy the number one problem when someone loses a sole....crud jammed up in there before you slid in the new soles..... hope that helps ya tim

bin experamenting with shanks the past month and heres a few pics on what ive bin messing around with and the possabilities megs bully flies... all call it the "double double bunny"..originally tied and fished this fall with a kerry stevens for the back half, but soon too be a double shank with a little gammy dangling ....more like some of teh steelehad flies that use similar principals... ive bin using palomar knots and 35lb gorilla braid i had kickin around

uh yea dude...like i said..havnt sepnt teh money...shanks are same *hit different pile...fine with me not too mention my jointed bully flies...10+inch doubl doubl bunnies no problem...

tubes and shanks are graet..havnt really got into them yet..but yes its more effective....putting a smaller hook on the end of the tube or shank i think loses less fish too rolling off teh streamer....ive bin tying alot of bully flies with those shanks lately....seems too be the way too go talking too euorpeans and coastal fisherman...havnt picked up teh tool u put in teh vice too tye on teh tubes yet...havnt bought nothing but shanks in a few months and after all my hook supplies are done ill be using shanks only i figure for streamers....

i think for teh bigger stuff this logo will work well and for teh smaller hats and whatnot bowcrows trout would be simple quick and easy for hats toques etc....could ya give me a few fingers under the fishes belly by the pecs..or is it a lil too much detail cant remeber if this was brought up...the caligraphy style one matches the flyfishcalgary faunt better but that can be changed too....will halfto re-read...
