hey al stick with your standard depths and leader setups when nymph fishing..one thing too keep in midn is with teh longer stick you can break off lighter tippet on teh hooksets no problem if u want..just ease up on the strikes and you should be fine...ive bin sticking with 3x 4x if necessary..... ive bin slammin fish on strteamers in teh earyl mornings swung and in teh late afternoon-evenings stripped........

hey dude its teh same stuff in either spool like brownstone posted..if you go through halfdozen spools or more a year ur line will jstu rot in them big spools..btu if u use tons of line its way cheaper with teh 330 yrd spools vs 30yrd spools...

i havnt had any of there products but had tons of clients rockin teh stuff waders mostly and soem jackets..looked like great gear...and cheaper...

you should be fine converting a 5wt into a 6wt...if u jump a few line weights up get a bigger reel dude...unless you just barely got the 5wt on and theres not a ton of spaw in teh spool...but you should be fine

jstu a local heads up. hansons outfitter has a bunch of loop products ready too bring in at a good price..jsut looked through the list and picked up a few things...lots of rods in teh 11-14 ft 7-11wt range...tons of great trout speys..loop greys, greens, blues and blacks goron anderson mostly and a few others...waders for a great price and some other stuff.....give wayne a call!!!

yup ice off paste is the way too go or else u can chip off ice...dunking ur rod uner the water too removes the ice...just give it a hsake after or she will freeze all together....
