Hello I will be heading to Agassiz, BC for a wedding on the May long weekend and need some advice on where to stay but most important where to fish and what's hot and not up that way in May. It's the year 2350. Humanity has spread to a few star systems, and is dedicatedly colonizing them. However, there is one discovered planet still lacking much human settlement. On this planet resides a single sentient life form. It is several hundred feet tall, and rather humanoid in form. Brain waves indicate great intelligence, and consciousness, but the creature does not move. One day, a college student, investigating this creature for his college thesis, gets frustrated and yells out, "how can something evolve with arms and legs if it doesn't use them?" It turns out this is the first time anyone had asked a question loud enough for the creature to hear. Presently, it stood up, (parting the clouds with its head) pondered a bit, boomed out, "IT CAN'T," and sat back down. The student was dumbstruck. "But of course." he muttered. "It only stands to reason . . ." There was this mother and her son, and the mother was having an affair. Her son, unbeknownst to her, would hide in the closet during these 'interludes'. One day, the boy's father came home from work early, and the mother shoved her lover into the closet, not knowing that her son was in that closet. The boy says to the man, "It's dark in here." The man says, "Yep" The boy says, "I have a baseball glove" The man, nervous that the woman's husband will hear, says, "That's great...shh!" The boy says, "Wanna buy it?" Eager to shut the boy up, the man says, "Sure, how much?" "$500" "Fine, just shut up!" In about a week, the same situation happened. The boy said, "It's dark in here" The man sighs and says, "Yep." The boy says, "Wanna buy a baseball for $500?" "FINE! shut up, okay?" In another week, the dad asks the boy if he wants to play catch, and the boy says that he sold his glove and ball. The dad asks how much he sold them for, and the son replies "$1000." He exclaims, "How could you take advantage of people like that?? Go to the priest and confess this instant!!" So the boy goes inside the booth, and says, "It's dark in here!" The priest says, "Darn it, don't start that again!!"

Since this only came out a few weeks ago and Neils article came out on the 16th maybe Neil could have come on here and been the first to inform us as he does have an advantage being in the media and his job is to look for this sort of thing. The movie is awesome but you really need to read the book. It's a real eye opener and a shame how the Gov of Canada treated him but the biggest shame is the millions of people that died in this conflict but he does an awesome job of pointing out why it happened and who could have stepped up. It's one of those books that will stay with you for life.

Funny: My Brother and I fishing Medicine lake in Jasper one year and my Bro had rented waders from a local shop and they where the one's with the built in boots and very heavy. Well Medicine is very muddy and my Bro stood a little to long in one spot and when he went to move he was stuck. Now I was a good 100yds away from him and I was trying to get over to help but the mud makes it hard to move so it was taking me awhile. well he was getting really mad and I was laughing so hard my gut was hurting then he fell over and his waders filled with water but he was unstuck after the fall. He was so pissed that he hiked off of the lake and up the hill to the car with waders full of water and all I can hear is swearing and then I see him dump out a bunch of water from his waders it must have added another 100lbs+ to his walk lol. Gross: Headed down to the Crow with my Bro and a buddy so we decide to go to the Lease parking lot and fish that section. we pull into the parking area and I notice this guy standing in between the outhouses jerking his pickel well it was pants up and a really fast run to his car followed by a cloud of dust from him ripping out of the lot. Strange: fishing the Highwood in the canyon just after runoff and the water was still really high but hey you gotta go fishing. Well I'm standing on the bank when I notice something out of the corner of my eye. It's big and dark looking and is floating down towards me. Well I have had this happen to me twice before and both time it was a Black Bear trying to cross so I reel in and get ready to make some noise or take off when I notice it's not a Bear but a big fat bloated dead Cow floating down stream and right past me Funny for you not for me: Fishing upper K in my bellyboat when I decide that I am way to cold to stay in the boat so I go to shore get out of my boat and leave it up on the bank and start fishing from shore when this dog show's up and takes a leak right on my bellyboat my buddy Carlos was in stitches and I was really mad and the owner was laughing so that did not make it much better but I lightened up and had a good laugh after I washed the boat off.
