I have the Simms Riversheds and for the money I could not be more happy with these boots. They have great ankle support and are super comfy, they don't shrink and I find the grip is awesome. But like Headscan was saying you should upgrade the laces.

I can only dream of 100+ cake day

My 09 started off with a dream trip to NZ. I never had the chance to hit the South Island but I did get in a couple great days on the North Island. I fished the Tongariro River for two days unguided and did rather well then on the last day we hit a small hidden gem that produced some sweet Rainbows. Here is a pic of my most Memorable fish from that trip.

I was waiting for LoyalEddie to post some pics of the Streamwatch cake he bid on and won in the auction. After many attempts to set a date to deliver the cake we managed to work out a day and what kind of cake he wanted. So Loyal being the smart ass he is tried to get me with a tough cake to bake a German Chocolate Cake. Well he really should try harder as I knocked it out from scratch and it kicked ass. Thanks again to Loyaleddie for donating to such a good cause.

I can't find any records of a person named Ralph working for big oil before turning to politics? I can find one that was a reporter then Mayor then MLA but none that came from big oil? Maybe he gave a false name to throw you off? Maybe he was in politics in BC and moved here?

I never have but when I was out with my Bud Ralph he caught well over 100 fish while I was at camp making a cake and getting the pan ready for some Trout.

bvader you are the one who started with an Alzheimers joke as I know it was just a joke so I won't take it personally as a person who has witnessed what it does to a family member. If you are going to joke expect to get a few in return. There are way too many people who take this board and themselves way too serius. It's a great board that touches on all subjects from fishing related stuff to way off in left field crap but that is why I like it here.
