  1. check BBB the only way to go with all the scam artist around these days
  2. and don't forget that goes for politicians as well
  3. best thing to do is take the time to test drive all the ones that catch your attention and even those in the same class that don't and judge that way. What I like may not be what you like
  4. research through BBB they have lots of info about the contractors and what complaints if any have been filed
  5. It's a klink, finding the hooks is the hard part.
  6. Don't worry about it.... it's part of the software
  7. You're pulling too hard by the sounds of things. I usually lift and gently move the rod tip backward. Hope that helps
  8. Depends on a lot of different things, such as street legal , safety inspections, what province it is in and other things that I can't remember as I looked into this type of thing years ago and at that time it was going to cost more that what it's worth. Maybe looking for an old Willies is a better option
  9. This a big issue in the US, it's illegal to use drones in national parks and heard mention that it to applies to fireworks as well, a drone got hit by fireworks and caused injury to people on the ground........seen this one before
  10. John Maclean, not cheap but quality is top notch
  11. I stay away from all but one place on line to buy; I prefer to handle material and visually inspect before purchasing. I buy local except for the one case where I need special feathers for certain fly types.
  12. Good idea Don add if you want to.
  13. No pics but I still have the cad drawings somewhere.
  14. You can stuff the cap end with cotton balls or add more dubbing to the container.
  15. If you are handy with wood and tools design and build your own. I did several over the years
  16. Just look locally for a product called parapost from hareline dubbin.
  17. I'm sure this will be brought up again like it has in the past but this is the best piece I've seen documented: http://www.hatchmag.com/articles/drift-boat-etiquette-rules-road/7711246
  18. Reminds of the young fellow that was hacked up on a Greyhound bus a few years back by some one supposedly that was unstable. No need for anyone to be carrying a machete in these parts. The incident should be reported as you never know what a stranger is capable of
  19. Report it, maybe some one has reported something similar. It's actions of not reporting that "makes crime pay". If this has happened to more people and they reported it they would at least look in to it. License plate number or partial? Give the mounties all you can remember
  20. Maybe till you know for sure they will stick with it, you could rent some gear, I believe this can be done at the hatchery. If anyone is sure or has correct info feel free to chime in
  21. I did and it doesn't work due to poster's privacy settings
