There is snow pleasing some people. Sheesh

Well did anyone watch? I thought it was a great pilot episode with some good acting. It looks like it can be a good who done it without the "big star" as the obvious killer.

Tip # 100 Spicy burrito's and waders do not mix!

I had cataract eye surgery last Jan and May it differs somewhat from LASIK however I am very happy with my results. My suggestion is find a good clinic and make sure you feel comfortable with them. I have heard of clinics that treat you like cattle in line for castration. Best of luck

Tip#55 When fishing in grizzly country always fish with someone older, fatter, and slower than yourself. *disclaimer I always have trouble finding someone who meets the above criteria I seem to lead in every aspect.

Profit is not a dirty word in my vocabulary. Your money and choice of store is your own of course. Honestly, really a dollar ... one dollar? I guess I can sympathize because you lost more than one dollar, you also lost those sunglasses that the loonie was wearing.

Since my 6 wt rod increases my line speed, accuracy, distance and hook setting and is almost impervious to breakage it is the only rod I need.

In between periods when the band Metric was playing you see two guys standing with arms in the air cheering when buddy smacks buddy right in the nards. I'll look for a link

I am to lazy to give a fist pump let alone a throat pump. I have fished for years without one and I do not see the need for me to use one in the future. What would you use on a bulltrout, a Chernobyl Turkey Baster?

SJW: Membrane drysuit possibly? Other than that we could gear you up in your riding leathers and then dip you in a vat of silicone. Sidi's sure would prove interesting to walk in the river with

I seem to remember waders at Bass Pro that had the boots attached. I do not believe they are breathable though. They were nicer than the old 1 piece rubber waders I had back in the day. But the boots were basic.

Thanks, I will give it a try.

Just wondering if someone has tips for me on the whip finishing trick(if there is one) between the spun deer hair and the cone? From all the pictures I see of the bow river bugger with a conehead the spun and clipped deer hair seamlessly meets with the cone. I am going to tie some tonight and I am looking for any tricks of the trade regarding this one aspect of the fly. I can tie them without a conehead but I am foreseeing some difficulty. Is the trick just the way you hold out your tongue when finishing it off? Can you effectively get head cement in there? example (not mine) of the clean look I am wanting to achieve

Quite the nice hopper there Wolfie. Question: do you think it will lie right side up in the water or does the fact that it is very realistic from all angles eliminate how it rides in the water?

Larger infrastructure is a requirement of larger use. Are you suggesting we limit Banff to less than a thousand visitors per year? Collapse no, but there would be some fallout from tourism and license revenue all which would have to be supplemented from another revenue source. In this day and age I can see the end of fishing in the park and visitors would be subject to a fancy named surcharge. Then what have we really achieved? Environmental elitism/extremism because we want to take the moral high ground or holds fast to legal definition of wildlife harassment? Where does it stop? I guess we could just fence it all in and move everybody out, and let nature reclaim it all. Then have google come take pictures of it all and then enjoy it from the comfort of our laptop. However you are not wrong, I too have pondered on the parks stance on leave everything but the fish philosophy. And looking back I can see why. Attitudes and times were different. Heck you can fish in Yellowstone too. I just am a traditional person who hates to see freedoms and past privileges taken away for the wrong reasons. Cheers

What is the economic impact in revenue loss for our National Parks if fishing was not allowed? I believe the revenue gained from it is a large part of the economic dynamic of sustaining its viability. What gain would there be if fishing was not allowed in our national parks? Revenue from fishing and tourism generated from this activity helps to feed enforcement of all the other rules. The parks cannot exist within a vacuum.

Will it increase my line speed, accuracy, distance and hook setting? -
I used Fast Doors last May and I am very pleased with the results. My garage door went from a medieval drawbridge to a modern garage door that always works without the creaks and moans of the old drawbridge. Price was exactly as quoted - on time- quality materials. Good luck

Not quoted from Sundancefishers statement but from his attachment. Crystal Green, Jebus H Cripes! Does this give anyone the Heebe Jeebies like it does to me ala Solyent Green. At any rate I do not think our biologist are yet smart enough to fool with nature to this degree. That said I am largely ignorant about the process and therefore any opinion I give would be prejudicial. Cheers -
Rumour is they are best raw. Flavor is described as a bit nutty.
