I have had both. Currently progressive, but the better half says I still cant see or hear for that matter. Good thing I love her. After a point in the day threading a small fly is almost luck. Time for additional magnifier lens.Overall for fishing bifocals.

There have been times when I have called and an officer calls back to tell me he is the closest to Calgary and just leaving Sundre. I too have reported poachers and the officer who called back said they are dispatched out of Lethbridge, and he was currently near Strathmore. Responded when he could but was too late. Couple years ago for about 3 years used to see a nice officer named Gary quite frequently. He commandeered my boat once to bust some people.Also seen CO on a jet ski, but also the canoe on river and lakes as said with plain clothes and caps till they get to your boat. All in all, they are seen less frequently. Too many miles for too few.

Back then the river had a smell to it and rainbow like color floating on top of the water. That would be the refinery's. Fish meat sucked too. Thank God they are gone.

Also on freedom 85. Born in Cowtown fished the Bow since 1969. On the fly about 16 years. I remember when there was still 3 refineries on the river.Been on Ffc about 4 years. Learned lots and still lot's to learn. Have several favorite fisheries but the Bow is the queen. Building in Okotoks so will have 3 rivers close by to have fun with.Owned my own businesses for 25 years and now doing sales for a large company.

So I guess me, Dave, Dino John and a few others are the only considerate jet boaters. I highly doubt it, but a few ruin it for all. I go out of my way to look out for the other fisher. I have been encroached upon by many a drift boat over the years and jets. Sheize Happens. Just do your best. The goofs will always be goofs no matter the vessels. Have fun and fish. Yes sometimes it is hard not to get choked. My blood pressure is pretty good. How is yours?

Some of the night trips are larger charter boats that drift fish. They can be fun too. Caught Baricuda nurse sharks Bonita kings and a few more.

I had 2 - 14 ft jons w 15 hp short shaft, w carpeted floor and deck. Loved em. Now have a 16 ft, great for the river, not bad for lakes. Very stable on the waves though,.

Been seeing them for years especially near Carseland. I hear they love trout. Too bad.
