The one time I camped at Norbury we pulled in and wondered why there was only 1 other person in the whole campground on a weekend. We found out right around sun down when the mosquitoes came out. They were as bad as in the northern ontario bush. You couldn't even sit outside even with bug spray on.

I would go later date as well, earlier in the season has better chance of being blown out from rain. I would even go early september, my favorite month to fish

First I would actually have to be able to cast to my backing, and second, I think a fish has only taken me there once, the 12" stockers in this province just cant seem to take out line the way I would like. Guess I need to start fishing the Bow.

I have been thinking about this issue for quite a while now and after reading the Robert Kennedy thing I want to know what everyone else thinks. I am wondering how far down or up the line this warning goes. There is a warning for I belive the lower oldman and SSk river. Now I ice fish around here in the winter alot and keep the odd walleye and quite a few whitefish. All our irrigation reservoirs in the south either are fed by, or end up in these rivers. Should I be heeding these warnings even if I am not fishing in these axact rivers? its not something that i am extremely worried about, but its still concerning none the less.

What alarms me more in this article is that there are 800 commercial fishing operations in this province.

Anyone ever try Rio Windcutter?, I always thought it was an interesting concept but the durability of the Pocketwater left me thinkig I would never buy another Rio line again. Do they still even make it?

I cant understand why Italo even has a show, we as fisherman should not support someone that has blatantly broken the regulations and been charged for it, not once, but twice!!! I dont even understand how or why sponsers/advertisers would want to get there name and brand behind someone like that. He is by far the worst for holding fish out of the water for the glory shot as well, even while sitting there stressing how important it is to release then quickly. Ever time I see his crap on TV I get angry. Rant over, discuss
