  1. Nice fish! Congratulations, your life is over.
  2. Wise words Hawgstoppah. And Xplorer, great pics and fish. Looks like an amazing time. Love the dark spots on those cutties and the colour in their cheeks. Healthy fish.
  3. I'm most likely going to be doing the hike into Lost Guide Lake from the Hummingbird Equestrian Area sometime in September and was wondering if anyone else has done it? What can I expect for fishing, and what should I bring for flies? Also, I've done the hike to Ranger Creek so I kind of know what to expect as far as the trails in the area are concerned, but I was wondering what the deal was with the trail to the lake. Is it clearly marked? Is there a sign? If not, how will I know it when I see it? Any help with the hike, or fishing the lake, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Cory
  4. Those are fantastic! Nice Bruins all 'round.
  5. Awesome post! I loved the story about the wrong lake...and then the wrong lake again! Glad to hear you guys got some money back which I am sure definitely helped any resentment. The goldens are absolutely beautiful and I'm glad to hear you guys found some success.
  6. Glad you guys enjoyed them. There definitely is something special about the little creeks.
  7. Unlike some of the other people, I totally see the humour in, and the ridiculous nature of, the fact that the part was in such a large box. Furthermore, I understand that you weren't using the box as a slight against Orvis, but merely as an amusing observation.
  8. Yeah, the roads are pretty decent. I used to take my little Saturn SC1 on the Trunk Road all the time.
  9. The other/smaller brown I caught. In true brown trout fashion he was staying tucked right in tight to the bank under an overhanging shrub and rising sporadically. I had to literally drift the fly about 2 inches from his face to get a take. I had an awesome day and the biggest fish topped out at around 10-11". I had a blast.
  10. I thought the water created a cool effect in this one. Vermiculations.
  11. I hit up a creek yesterday and fished for some small brookies and had an awesome time with around 20 brookies and 2 browns to hand. I missed probably twice that many hits. It was a beautiful day to be out and god damn do I love stalking skinny water. Interestingly enough, I also like taking pictures, so enjoy. Good ol' Adams. This uncooperative little bugger made for a cool looking pic. This brown was a pleasant surprise. He was a scrapper too.
  12. That brown is puuuuurrrrrdy!
  13. Signed. Up to 598. LET'S KEEP 'EM ROLLIN' IN!
  14. Taimen are so friggin awesome. Hopefully someday I'll be able to afford the trip.
  15. Looks like you had an awesome time! Always nice to see some goldens. What was working for you?
  16. Yeah, good luck with that one! A tall order indeed. Good luck, though.
  17. Thanks for the comments, glad you guys liked 'em. And Steve, I knew you'd have something to say about all the flowers.
  18. I think that's what he's saying...mines 32" But seriously now, those are some sweet pics. That water is beautiful.
  19. Here's a wack of recent photos. Feel free to enjoy them. Sorry there isn't any real fish porn, but there are some beautiful skinny water brookies in there.
  20. Great post and pics! Thanks a lot for sharing. I'm definitely going to have to take a trip down south one of these days. Sigh, so much water to cover.
  21. Sounds like an awesome day. I love cutties and skinny water.
  22. Awesome pics. I need me one of those types of days really soon.
