  1. Very sad to hear that Lynn! It's amazing how attached we can get to our pets, they're just like family members!! It will be a hard time but the good memories will help fill the void.
  2. Okay, so the ball is rolling already. They thanked me for making them aware of it and they're going to look into getting the online version corrected.
  3. Okay, I called the High River F&W office and they said it must be a printing error. I copied and pasted from what it says online.. but the lady I talked to was looking in the actual magazine.. hers says "from headwaters downstream to the Indian Oils day use site" and then "from the Indian Oils day use site downstream to Gorge Creek." I'll fire an email off to let them know that the online version is incorrect..
  4. Can someone explain this to me? Sheep River - from headwaters downstream to the bridge at Indian Oils Day-use Site June 16 to Oct 31 - Trout limit 0; Bait Ban. Nov 1 to June 15 - Closed - from headwaters downstream to Gorge Creek & tributaries, (except Gorge Creek), – CLOSED - from Gorge Creek downstream to Highwood River – River only - June 16 to Aug. 31 – Trout limit 2; Cutthroat and Rainbow over 35 cm; Mountain Whitefish limit 5 over 30 cm; Maggots are the only bait allowed and only after Aug. 15. - Sept. 1 to Oct. 31 – Trout limit 0; Mountain Whitefish limit 5 over 30 cm; Maggots are the only bait allowed. - Nov. 1 to June 15 – CLOSED So.. from the headwaters to the bridge at Indian Oils is only open from June 16 - October 31... but, from the headwaters to gorge creek is closed year round? Why does it say "from headwaters to.." twice? I'm confused..
  5. If Turco keeps playing the way he has been.. I can't see Detroit beating Dallas. Looks like he's finally broken his playoff jinx.
  6. I had a chat with Ken Whellems one day about this because there was an entire thread where people were saying different things about the warranty, and noone really knew for sure. I had phoned one time and gotten the same answer as you Lundvike. However, Ken corrected me. Springbrook will honor the US warranty provided that make/model of rod is AVAILABLE here in Canada, and you're the original owner. *edit* An example is the 4 piece NXT combo on the templeforkflyrods.com website.. they are made in the US, but not Canada. So if you purchased a 4 piece NXT combo in the US, brought it back home here and broke it, you could not get the piece replaced because the 4 piece Signature Series that Springbrook has here is a different rod. Same goes the other way.. TFO USA will honor the warranty of a rod made in Canada as long as they carry that model and you're the original owner. The 2 piece Ti series would probably be an example of a rod you couldn't get replaced in the US, as I don't see it on their website at all.
  7. Surveyors Lake and Baynes Lake.. one has largemouth and the other smallmouth.. but I can never remember which is which.

Agreed.. I started with corkies.. then went to the 'foam strip' ones, then yarn, and now the thingamabobber.. I love it. I liked yarn too but it drove me nuts that it got water logged so quick.
  9. What's UFA? Does that mean they're purchasing Russell's as well?
  10. *cough* .. Geez.. I just might be sick that day!!
  11. In my experience.. Rogers is by far the best of the three Brent. Although, i'm always dealing with corporate accounts.
  12. I don't even bother with the trout that are under 25"/5lbs.. I just 'shake em off' like MTB.

  14. Support the local guys man.. Wardell all the way.
  15. I think we should all start installing "Self Destruct Systems" in our vehicles.. Star Trek style. Blow these morons into tiny pieces.
  16. Bhurt might shoot me for saying this.. But there pretty much no situation anymore where a person should buy anything 'technology related' from a store like Future Shop, Best Buy, Staples, etc. etc. Places like Memory Express and OEM Depot will beat their price just about EVERY time.
  17. hahaha.. best guess anyways!
