    Waders?

Sure you can wet wade the Bow, I have been doing it since mid June, cold yes but once your in it is fine, as far as cleanlyness, I would say it is cleaner than the Rideau, Credit, Grand, Moira and Cataraqui Rivers through thier City center runs, back in Ontario the one thing you do need wet or in wades is felt soled boots for the rocky bottoms.

  19. Hi greenpeter, when you get here stop at any canadian tire or tackle shop and pick up Barry Michells alberta fishing guide. or his book on the forestry trunk road "albertas trout highway". for bears generally Make some noise(I find some Whiskey in the Jar sung off key works), and for a last resort I ussually carry bear spray (a type of pepper spay) or bear bangers (not sausages like the brits eat) a type a loud noise maker to send a bear running. hope this helps. Tight lines Teck
  20. I find subing the coke for ginger ale works well too,and screw the Lime to close to health food. When I get really bad allergies I double up the rye. Actually just to make sure it works I always double the purly medicinal rye.

  22. Hi Kaudley, I started flyfishing last year, my suggestions are. 1. take a beginners course, they are not hard to come by and are invaluable as far as instuction and casting goes. I took Fishtales one and really enjoyed it (still not slaying the fish out there but I do alright) 2. as far as hooking up to fish post in the get togethers section about 2 to 4 days before you go and you should be able to hook up with someone to fish 3. enjoy your new addiction Tight lines Teck
  23. well for me it was the automatic door on the van. tfo fixed no problem, for my son it was the back door of the van Fish tales did a bang up job getting it sent off quick to sage for repair. so both cases were acts of stupidity
