  1. I hear you Don I just use my hemostats to yank em out when my fingers can't get in there.
  2. Nice pic Andy, that water really looks great with really good lighting. Awesome
  3. I have a huge thing for the Demon, I love casette type reels. Truefully I can't myself buying one anymore, these prices are great but some other manufacturers have earned my loyalty.
  4. I had a great time got to meet tonnes of people, I got to reconnect with a friend I hadn't seen in a decade. I took Jim McLennan's workshop and cast a bunch of really cool rods. The guys from Whistler helped me find the perfect Skagit line for my spey stick, thanks dudes. So all in all a great weekend, thanks to Fly Fusion for a great weekend and for being so cool, it was great to work your booth. Jay
  5. Yes the white wizard.... deadly just deadly. I will say it would be nice to find a simpler way to attach tying materials to hotdogs... I kid I kid, bull trout don't like hotdogs they like cheese
  6. I was going thru my pics sorting stuff and noticed this pic, i dig it. I think it is viewed best big, so you can truly appreciate the colours, I hope you enjoy it
  7. well on days like today when we were slammed with snow and cloud I don't think the solar panels would be effective, but 2 AAAs in the handle would do me just fine....lol
  8. After much thought I decided what I would want out of a rod.... it came to me today as I was trying to warm up drink that froze solid in 30 minutes of fishing. I want a rod that fishs like a 9' 6 Wt, but it needs to be able to cast 3 LARGE split shot and a streamer made from a half a bag of marabou. It should also have some sort of electric heating system that heats the guides so they don't freeze and the cork so I don't freeze. It should also be under $500. That's all I want
  9. I am excited to see this booth, I have volunteered for the Fly Fusion booth so I will be making my rounds for sure
  10. My wife doesn't give a s**t as long as the mortgage gets paid
  11. Rick your post is right on the money, look at how in 2 generations the number of hunters has diminished dramatically, and the funny thing is now we have to many deer in the population. now I am not advocating law breaking here but they only win when you lay down your rod. From my cold dead hands. CH
  12. I enjoy the all american bass masters classics............ no no i don't
  13. wow dudes, I thought hitting a truck doing 85k on my pedal bike was bad you all got me beat. I just brok ever bone in my face and every rib..... seems easy compared to what you dudes & dudette have done. Most painful was removal of a tumour from my left arm, ligaments, muscle and bone all replaced with cooler, more exotic materials that always make airline metal detectors go off.

  17. So I was lucky enough to escape the city today, I hit the water with Dekkard and Winston. We all tied into fish and I am super excited to say I scratched a resolution off my list. I wanted a Bull this year 30" or bigger and I landed one today that taped an even 30". I had my succes on an articulated White Wizard. Dekkard and Winston hooked up on Atomic Weasels and Radioactive Weasels. It was a sultry 3c today with a water temp of 2c but we did get dumped on by snow. Hope you enjoy the pics. Fish On!!! Nice to be on this side of the camera for a change Shooting the bull Winston on a fish Dekkard trying to avoid the ice bergs
  18. micro leeches and little scrimps
  19. Nice pics thank you. I am ashamed that I have never fished the sunshine coast. I spent many a childhood summer running amuck thru gibsons to sechelt. My brother in law still owns a house in gibsons
  20. I need a water/net/rod tube holder/fire stooker..... it doesn't pay well, but damn will you see some nice fish
  21. I have been looking for a new boat as well. I was thinking of the Fish Cat 4, but now the mention of the Caddis Nevada Gold being lighter has peaked my interest. Is it considerably lighter then the Fish Cat 4??? most of my boat fishing is hike in lakes.
  22. I saw that and thought if the lack of water doesn't kill you god knows what living in elephant poop will
