I'm heading south, and way east....think Ottawa I'll definitely miss the cutts and bulls of SW Alberta. -
Gorgeous fish, awesome report. Looks like a very fertile stream. Nice little reality check for some of us that the Bow isn't the center of the rainbow/brown universe.

Taco, do you feel they should be completely extirpated from the province, or just greatly reduced in population? And even if we eliminated brookies from systems like the Elbow River, what chance would bullies and cutts have of making a fully recovery?

I'm not a fan. Why not mountain bike or hike instead? They should set aside a big chunk of land that has already been destroyed, like the McLean creek area, for ATV's and then ban 'em everywhere else.

You'll find more bullies than brookies in that main river up there. Try the little meadow tribs if you want the brookies. Or just head to Cataract. I haven't spent too much time in that area but the whenever I do fish up there it is usually pretty spotty.

Me too man. But seeing Selanne hoist it was great. The Ducks were stellar, and the Sens burnt out. Their reputation as playoff-chokers will now be as strong as ever.
