  6. Meyer's on 11st sw, (beside the Galaxy) makes a nice smoked meat sandwich on City Rye bread. No fries though. You can order Shwartz's online too! My buddy has ordered online, and it was delicious! Call me when it arrives... http://www.schwartzsdeli.com/index_eng.html
  7. I don't know the area, but maybe get a Backroads map book of the area.
  8. You answered your own questions. Broken tip and set-up is too light. I have been using something similar to Monger's setup. Cheap and it works. Good luck
  9. elimintate all slack in your system before you start to cast! Oh ya, set the hook!
  10. A Good Life Wasted: Or Twenty Years As A Fishing Guide and True Love and The Wooly Bugger both by Dave Ames. Both are funny and good reads. Barr Flies by John Barr. Nice flies and how to fish them. pm if you wanna read them.
  11. Perfect for the 420 hatch!
  12. I use a Fli 5 wt and I have used Rio Grande, Orvis Wonderline and a SA Floating Line. They all work really well. I personally like the Wonderline as it seems to mend a little easier. I hear the Sage lines are great too.
  13. I went out with Hawgstoppah a couple of weeks ago and I used his nymphing set up (a little shorter than mine). Seemed to work well! Also learned to fish aggressively! Bow river hook sets! Dutchie nailed it. No candy ass hooksets. Since then my landing % has improved. Oh ya, I also landed a nice brown that day! Check it out if you like! http://www.bowriveradventures.com/bowriver/id13.html
  14. I wan't able to take the day off, but the next best thing is a lunch hour session. Got a nice rainbow on a EHC and hooked a small brown, but he spit the hook...

    Last Few Days

    Wow! What fly?
  16. Congrats, nice blue sweater too!
  17. If you like corkies instead of Thingamabobbers just double up the leader and push thru the hole in the corky. Then pull the corky thru the loop. No more toothpicks! Maxwell taught me this. I still prefer Thingamabobbers...
  18. Nice fish. The Rainbow after the sucker is awesome! Thanks for posting...
  19. I'm having troubles with to, two and too...
  20. This happened to mine as well but after a couple of seasons. I glued mine back together with marine epoxy and a few c clamps. Simple fix and still holding.
