Well when people claim fish to be clearly larger than the pictures prove or show, and post such on a forum, they start to lose credibility, wouldn't you agree? I wasn't trying to start anything on this forum, but... c'mon guys. Get a tape, you'd be suprised.... there not that big Having said that, there all damn nice fish. The only reason I started this post was to make people think a bit about what there claiming to have landed... without a real factual tape measured fish. Here's a 30 incher...... it was accurately taped (to the fork, not pinched). Now take 4 - 5 inches off that.. well, you be the judge

Ya same. I dont measure it unless I figure it'll go 25+... then sometimes I get shot down. Ha... and she's 23.5 or 24. Sometimes a fish that looks 26 will tape at 24. or 23. I'm pretty good at eyeballing fish, and a lot of 25+ getting posted I don't think ever saw a tape measure

I gotta admit. I am having a good laugh at a lot of pics lately. Not a certain one in particular, but it seems a lot of fish are either looking a lot smaller than what people are saying, or the camera angles are bad. But it makes me wonder, how many of you actually USE a tape measure? I mean ACTUAL tape, not measured on your rod, or in a net that the "opening is XX inches" etc, etc etc. but I mean using an actual tape measure.

I think that it's fine. If you had a product fall to crap on yah, I want to know about it! On the other side, if something works GREAT I want to know about it. Same with an experience with a guide / shop / online retailer,,, whatever! That's my 2 cents

Ya I've actually fished in a lot worse than this. I remember one time I was fishing with 2 buddies, it was kinda nice when the day started but by noon it was heavy snow, hard north wind, and about -15C. We had a big bonfire going on that island with pine tress down from cranston about a mile, and were getting a fish every time we were brave enough to go fish the run. Got too cold and came back to the fire to warm up before heading out for another try every about 5 minutes, but it sure was some awesome fishing and good times.

Anyone brave enough to fish in this crap? C'mon, let's see some pics and reports you wimps! *as I sit on my computer in front of a space heater*

And, yeah... Juice needs to either step up and play, or get traded for someone who can this off season. And conroy too, or he needs to be replaced by a good faceoff man with OTHER skills such as physical play, speed, and scoring touch.

This flames team is so Jekyll and Hyde it drives me nuts. I wonder which flames team is gonna show up for game 5. I can't even blame the refs for any of this. Getting outplayed / outshot that bad, they had no right to even be in that game much less have a chance with 5 minutes left to win it.

and I am not trying to promote a closure on the crow, I'm trying to point out that a lot of times it's the pot calling the kettle black in these stupid debates every spring. every one of you guys that say it's unethical, has fished the bow during a hot summer afternoon, or in may when all the rainbows are weak and post-spawn. So is it ok then, and not now? This retarded debate makes me sick....

Point is, if your even there, your fishing for fish actually in the river where they are going to be on the spawn, or actually spawning. The redds are there and clearly visible, and that's where they spawn. Above the falls right through the lease right up to Leitch and all the way up to the closed spot above east hillcrest is all full of redds this time of year. Most people that see a bunch of fish sitting on redds will not realize there on the redds and throw a line in at them anyways. I'd guess most people when wading it don't even look for redds (and there at a lot of places you would normally use to cross). But the debate is only about the fishing for staging rainbows at the highwood, that's the BIG problem.... yup...

again, I dont get it. If you got "morals" or not, it's a question of "do I fish, or take up knitting" not a question of who fishing where and when and trying to make people look bad or feel guilty. There's no need. This is a ridiculous fued brought up every year, and UNPROVEN to harm fish at this location. If you got morals, please by all means do not fish, becuase this time of year in a certain spot, or later in the year in the same river, your playing with the same damn fish. so, please, don't go, as there will be more room for the rest of us who DO go fishing.
