  1. Love this little gal I caught last spring Head shot
  2. Every coach that plays Manning or any other elite QB wants to hit him on every drop and get him out of his game. He wants to batter and bruise him, hurry him up and make him fear that on every throw that he will be crushed. Not that he wants him injuried.
  3. Can't see me jumping on the "connected" gadget band wagon now.................a basic cell is my limit. This isn't far off
  4. Last time out
  5. ..............oh you big jessie.............dry up willya
  6. Really enjoyed the Amundson booth as well and especially the stillwater wind warrior.
  7. Agreed.......................wouldn't know the diff between a salmon or a cod fish. Only got the portfolio due to her geographical location and/or gender.
  8. I think the 17 points in the first half (2nd quarter) is very misleading, they stoned the Jets run 86 yrds for the whole game, thats their game and indy beat them at it. The 80 catch by Edwards is what makes that score stand out. With out the Jets running game, no lead was safe againt the Colts. Manning will not have to adjust againt the Saints D, this was the Jets defence and he shredded them in the second half. If the Saints come at him like they did against Minny, Clarke and Collie will have monster games. I think the only way the Saint win, is if the Colts hand them the game. Don't mean to rag on the Saints , and I'm not even a Colts fan, I just think they are the class of the NFL this year, with a huge gap between first and second. But like they say Any Given Sunday.
  9. If the Saints play like they did yesterday, Colts by 30+, that was a brutle game, by both teams. Colts will wins, even if the Saints brings their best.
  10. Anyone score a major on the Mr. Anderson bamboo ?
  11. I dropped in as well, casted a couple rods, found one I really like, and what do you know, its not a Sage.
  12. Nice flies Riley.
  13. Griz hen neck.
  14. had a bad experience with these wipers when they get in the longer lengths. Got a mini van myself and with a 28" blade (figuring you'll need something this long) lifting became a problem at highway speed, also the spring action wasn't enough at the ends on the blade (wiper only cleaner in way of the wiper arn connection), also had the wipers its self become detached from the arm clip (a factor connection) when starting wipers when frozen. Nothing good to say for a set of wipers that cost me over $60. I find you need a heavy set of steel blades (winter or summer) when you get into the longer length on vans.
  15. First attemp at a Rusty Rat for the Salmon/Steely swap.........................need some bigger hackle I think.
  16. Nothing like icy cold water shooting into your waders. I got a small tear about size of a dime in my neo waders, any one got a quick fix for this.
  17. My tying is all over the place, can never seem to tie more than 6 of anything with out taking a break or at the very least switching flies. I would never tie if I had too.
  18. Thanks but I found hole full of them today, landed 8 and lost another 3 or 4 in 25-30 mins. How big do these things get anyway, after catching 5 or 6 of them I hooked into something really solid that acted the same way, did land him or see em to tell what it was. They look ans dif. smell like a herring to me, but bow river bones do sound cooler.
  19. Awesome....................guessing you had to change the bath water three times to clean her up.
  20. how big of worms to you tye ole man, 6/0? 12" will bend a no 4.........................maybe I need to go bigger or go home.
  21. I've been loading a old steel bobbin with a thread spool of wire (24gauge) and that seems to work pretty good. I haven't tyed a huge quantity like this but I bent a couple dozen with still wire left on the spool. Seems as good as it gets, at least for me.
  22. I caught my second whitey today, I've had bigger trout quit faster. I'd take them all day long.
  23. Had my kit stolen a couple season ago, home insurance covered it and then jacked my insurance so that I pay three times over what I claimed for.
  24. Not that I would know any better but the Cortland Peach served me well along with the Wluff triangle taper.
