  1. We are about to head out for our first trip with new TT - Jayflight 22FB. We had a camper with solar panel - no solar yet for tt. so ?? The set up for mounting batteries will fit 2 24's, but I have 2 27's. What set ups do others use for mounting and covering a pair of 27's? Does it matter where on the tongue they go? That could alleviate some considerations. Would I be better off, in terms of power stored getting a pair, or even 4 6v and set up accordingly? To operate an electric fishing motor - I need to replace 24's here - would a pair of 6v run longer?
  2. hopdrop: I touched up a few dings in the chines with 3M below water line fibreglass repair. Worked like a charm so long as u don't mind the blue tinge it hardens with. Never bothered to paint and gelcoat - as only visible on the trailer.
  3. I am looking to replace the crappy old plastic bed liner on a '97 F250. Wanna buy or build a plywood liner. Anybody know where to get plans for, or a kit for a plywood liner????
  4. Looking for a couple of nights in the pass, much preferably within walking distance of some water to fish after dinner. Any recommendations much appreciated.
  5. OK, so we've sold ur camper and are about to buy a smallish trailer (24' seem awfully big compared to our camper) We've narrowed it down to two makes/models. Those are the Jayco G2 23FB and the Palimino Puma 23FB. Anybody got any good/bad stories about these or the dealers - Sunridge and Field of Dream.?? Tks in advance
  6. Done!!! no probs - other than time. Up and running just fine.
  7. Assume the 'Toshiba Product Recover' Disks are the ones to boot from, then add Windows and other softeware.
  8. anyone familiar with replaceing hd in a Toshiba Tecra S1 laptop??? I have purchased a replacement but not sure how to access the bay. And once done do I use the Toshiba disks that came with the machine BEFORE the windows disks?? Tks.

  11. not functioning good - at all Anybody using this?? Can't seem to find any answers. Using spin doctor on Mac OSX 10.5.6 1. I get hum thru speakers after a few seconds when in 'Select device' panel. 2. I get an error message 'Unable to Record'. checked help files and found nothing regarding this issue Further system info 1. MAc OSX 10.5.6 2. Toast 10 (including latest downloaded updates) 3. CD SPinDoctor 4. I get hum then what sounds liike feedback thru speakers after a few seconds when in 'Select device' panel. I get an error message 'Unable to Record'. 5. 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SdRAM. I was doing just fine with Final Vinyl , but decided to go to toast because of advertised capability to reduce click and pop. Haven't found any info on this in help. What file types can toast and spin doctor open and save - can't find this info either.
  12. Tks I'll do that tonight. But I never did see a screen to 'set the password' only one to enter it to start windows. ....... later.
  13. I recently had the hd on my iMac replaced and now am trying to get everything back in full running order. Here's my primary issue : I have the fusion software loaded and had set up a 'new machine' and proceeded to install windows o/s. After about 35 minutes of whirring and file copying all was done and then I get a menu option while windows is starting asking for the Administrator password. I tried blank and other options to no avail. I see two options at this point as no one can tell me what the password is - one is to uninstall the windows xp - but how?? the other uninstall fusion in the hopes that that will make everything go away and start afresh - but I see no 'mounted disk image' as instructed. Can I set up another virtual machine and figure out how to get rid the one not working later?? any ideas appreciated.
  14. OK here's wher I am. Ordered a Griffin iMic2 for connecting. Considering Final Vinyl and/or Audacity for software. I'll look at Cool edit too. My Thorens 160 is a much better quality tt than any of those currently on the market - that's my reason for not going with a new MP3 capable tt.
  15. Terry: The Sony unit is apparently not Mac compatible.
  16. I’d really like to get all my old LP’s into MP3 format for my iPod. I see a couple of items that look interesting. I'll be attaching a vintage Thorens tt to an iMac fior use on an iPod. Audio-technica LP2D Numark TTi Ion products Ion U Record I also understand that there is a $39 device at Costco - plug in RCA’s and get MP3. There must also be others. Any one used any of the various methods and got any comments or reviews

  20. Any body know, or know how to find out Alberta rates of pay for the various levels of stationary engineers. 5th, 4th, 3rd, and 2nd class tickets
  21. Does the 'Cows and Fish' programme still exist?? Maybe contact Trout Unlimited as this was one of Kerry Brewins' projects I believe. Or check with Don Anderson.
  22. Cheesman canyon below Cheesman dam about 45 min from Denver. Fished it once a few years ago for about 1/2 day. Fun stuff - only one good hit which immediately stripped off my indicator and snapping the leader. Interesting water.
