  1. if you thrash waders then Patagonia is a good bet. I just had a pair warrantied after two years of abuse, and they asked no questions. They mentioned that fit was really important, as the seams are stressed when they are not properly fitted.

  3. If we were smart, we would make some sort of fly line pool.......since only select lines are available for demo at the shops.
  4. Anybody have any experience with it or know if any shops stock it in Calgary? Apparently it breaks down in five years, instead of the normal 500 years.
  5. Been running these pretty much exclusively this year, the Mikey Weir pattern......minus the mono loops. Gonna have too try em with the loops.
  6. You could experiment a bit with that, balance the rig a bit......might depend on the size of fish you're dealing with

  10. I will throw in another vote for a 5-6 single hander. Good choice on the Opti Stream too, just ordered one myself.
  11. For sure Andras, I like the Olympus and it will hold up a while......but waterproof HD would be sick!!

  13. You can do a quick hand-whipfinish.......just takes one. Holds everything in place, and then ya carry on like normal. If that makes sense.

  19. Is it a big no-no even for trout fishing? I always figured it was the steelheaders that were against the "bobber" fishin. Ive been gettin down with an afs head with a normal tapered leader, does the trick well.......double spey and snake rolls mostly. Only in the winter though.
