    Wtf

lol do you even know what it is? I'm guessing it's a calf.
  2. mmm Frogs legs. Man, I haven't had those for ages.
  3. I use the creel we made on Flyangler.ca. It tracks species, caught and relesed, dates waters etc.. I put in notes about the conditions and flies used and refference it when I go back. It's handy and I can access it from anywhere. If you have GPS co-ords, you can add them to track it on the google map as well. http://flyangler.ca/index.php?option=com_creel&Itemid=39
  4. Thanks for the review of the camera. No Optical Zoom is a big deal. I doubt I would buy the camera beacuse of that. Even a 3x is better than none. lol Most new camera's now do not have a viewfinder, except the DSLR's. I went to pick up a camera for my mom at christmas and noticed this new trend.
  5. I think they run an older version of the software. It's similar. Ok, I made some changes - Try it out for the next day or so and let me know if the problem persists.
  6. I'll take a look to see what else I can do. If you are using firefox, I know there are more issues than the EI for some reason.
  7. Scary, but glad to hear you and your boy kept cool. Accidents happen, and not panicing probably made a difference.
  8. Hawsome Birchy! Gratz on the milestone. Beauty of a first on the dry.
  9. What browsers are you all using? We switched the domain url over from the cpanel55...etc, to the flyfishcalgary.com domain last week. You should clear your cookies for the site and any temp files, restart the browser and then you should be able to stay logged in.
  10. That is cute. don't show that to my wife, I'll have to break down and get one. lol
  11. Wow, looks like a full day. I don't know if I would survive so much climing... Great photos.
  12. Ya, Glasses are a good thing. Here is an article my buddy Dave did up last year - Fly Fishing and Eye Protection
  13. Geez, I missed that. I must have been distracted by that massive rack in the back.
  14. Ugg... I think I'll gouge out my eyes
  15. I've seen a couple similar things out here Harps. It makes it pretty hard to catch someone. I came across one with a fish on. The fish was safely released. It was very tired, and I think it would have died on the line if it was there much longer. These things almost warrant a steak out.
  16. So far, I have been lucky although I have been tapped on the shoulder a few times but a mystery fisher. Getting a hook in the eye is scary. Make sure you wear glasses out there. If you are squimish, don't watch this...
  17. We can put it on this site, but rather than having 2 to maintain, it's easier to keep track of one.
  18. Where did you say the batteries go? Looks good. I hope it nets a worthy bull.
  19. I think knowing you made a difference is a good reward. It's nice the guy called you back to let you know the outcome. Good job.
  20. ouch. That sucks man. Watch this, maybe you won't feel so bad, Click here if the movie does not play.
  21. If you have a rubber Jar opener, they give you an unreal grip on the rod. I had one jam before and used the opener to grip the rod so I could get it apart.
  22. That camera is also shock proof isn't it? It'll take a good knock from 5 feet or so.
  23. Have your say in which day works best for the chat. Vote here
  24. http://flyfishcalgary.com/board/index.php?showtopic=629 Feel free to choose more than one day if it applies to you.
  25. Thank you to everyone who took part in the chat trial tonight. We managed a few good topics and I'm looking forward to hosting more chats in the future. Some of the discussions floated around Alberta regulations, Fly selections, some fly tying talk and conditions on a few of the sothern rivers.
