Recommended Posts

Hi Folks, appreciate another knowledge sharing.

I have a couple of hoppers that is made of foam. Some fisher man told me I don't need to put a floatant on it because these has closed air in them. Some said put as much as I can.

I am confused? Which is truth? Can anybody answer?

Doc's tip

I spray all my dry flies and hoppers after I tie them with 3M Scotchguard. The stuff for waterproofing couches from spills. Water proofs the heck out of them. All flies do get water soaked after a few fish. Fish slime makes em sink. I like to wash all my dry flies in soapy water rinse then 3M again.
