bulltrout Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 who's going where in the next month?...opinions? thoughts? guesses? http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/trade_deadline/feature/?fid=10439&hubname= http://rumormethis.com/ Quote
Tako Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I'm gonna be pissed of the Leafs move Sundin. Quote
Guest bigbadbrent Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 damnit didn't see this thread after i pm'd u back Tanguay won't be moved unless he wants to, and he won't be going anywhere other then montreal if he does waive his clause, hopefully we'd get Ryder and picks, or Kovalev. Forsberg will be back soon enough, my thoughts are that he's gonna go back to philly, or to vancouver Blake will be moved other then that, who knows Quote
Tako Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I could get used to seeing Forsberg in a Nucks jersey. I'm a Leafs fan, but the Nucks are the home team after all. Quote
birchy Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Sundin won't be moved unless the Leafs are definitely out of a playoff spot. He's too loyal to waive his no trade clause unless they're for sure a write off. Wouldn't be surprised if Forsberg comes back to Colorado actually... although Philly and Vancouver are good bets too. The other one I've been hearing quite a bit of is Dallas and Tampa.. Turco for St. Louis straight across. Quote
cheeler Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Philly can't afford another expensive injury prone guy after overpaying Briere. Emery should be moved after all the flack caused by him in Ottawa. Quote
walker1 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Calgary might make a deal with the Habs but, it sure will not include Kovalev. Once the habs punted Samsonov look at AK now! Quote
snakeman Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 The Oilers will definitely be selling. Tarnstrom will be gone. I hope Roloson is moved but who would be dumb enough to take on his contract, he's the highest paid back-up in the league. That link says Stoll could be moved and there's lots of rumours about that, but I really hope he's given one more year to prove himself. He has shown that he could become a good 2nd line center, or a great 3rd liner with future captaincy potential, at worst. Quote
LlamaLeach Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 What will Calgery give Toronto for Tucker Quote
Tako Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 What will Calgery give Toronto for Tucker Screw that. Tucker stays a LEAF Quote
bulltrout Posted January 31, 2008 Author Posted January 31, 2008 Screw that. Tucker stays a LEAF tucker should voluntarily go to philly to be with the rest of the goon squad... Quote
Guest bigbadbrent Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Screw that. Tucker stays a LEAF i hope so, tucker doesnt fit on calgary Quote
snakeman Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 The Oilers will definitely be selling. Tarnstrom will be gone. Well look at that, Tarnstrom is gone for a bottom 6 grinder, the Oilers were definitely lacking that kind of player Quote
jcochrane Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I'd love to see Hossa throw on a Nucks jersey. But I don't see the Nucks doing much or the Flames, though Iron Mike might look for Jokinen. I could see Sundin heading to the Ducks, for their pick(s). That way Burke has got his picks when he takes over as GM next year. We all know Burke loves that and he'll love the spotlight he'll receive when rolls into the T-Dot. Quote
Guest bigbadbrent Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 hhahaha Horcoffs out for the season..have fun playing golf this year edmonton Quote
snakeman Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 This is ridiculous, Burke will have a good shot at Stamkos now, we're definitely gonna finish in the bottom 5. I hope Katz can save this team when he takes over this summer. Quote
Guest bigbadbrent Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 hehehehe Stamkos is all but anaheims now I'm sure Burke will say thanks to Lowe and the organization Quote
snakeman Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Bump... So other than the Forsberg signing nothing notable has happened. Boyle is signed, Sundin is staying put, Tanguay isn't being shopped...if there isn't a blockbuster tomorrow this will be a pretty lame deadline. Quote
Guest bigbadbrent Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 What about Prospal. thats a big thing Hossa goes to Ottawa im thinkin Quote
cheeler Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Prospal is now a Flyer. http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app/?service=page&a...rticleid=354844 Quote
snakeman Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Just heard about the Prospal deal now. Looks like a great deal for the Flyers. I'd like to see Hossa go to Montreal. I have feeling O. Jokinen will be a Flame tomorrow afternoon. Quote
Guest bigbadbrent Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 I dunno what we would send them for olli though, tanguay is not moving Chicago looks like they're trying to completely rebuild. I wouldn't mind seeing havlat (though injury prone) or Lang Quote
birchy Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Brad Richards to Dallas and Brian Campbell to the Sharks.. The west is beefing up.. Calgary is going to have to make some moves! (I'd say Edmonton too.. but I've written them off. Mathmatically they're still in the hunt.. realistically they're out.. Especially since they're in the Northwest Division.) Quote
bigbowtrout Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/trade_deadline/feature/?fid=11364 Quote
snakeman Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Pittsburgh gave up too much to rent Hossa, unless he takes them to the cup they'll end up regretting it. I'm not surprised at all that Lowe took the day off, Edmonton has the foundation for a very good team. Quote
