monger Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I have had the pleasure to teach a bunch of folks how to fling flies this year. Their commitment to learn is now showing some good fruit: 9 Quote
troutlover Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 DANG! that is a solid fish! can you teach me please. Quote
Vagabond Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Love swinging streamers in Bow.Generally not as productive as nymphing,(lotsa skunk days, esp. in the colder months late winter/early spring)...but the fish are usually always good'uns, rarely ever catch the lil fellas.Best guess would be less than 5% of streamered fish I've caught in Bow are <14"? Edit:Beauty Brown btw!! Quote
Muffin Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Ah yes, I remember my first fish on a streamer..... it looked nothing like that. I have since caught some on the streamer similar to that. Hell of a way to start out, I imagine that guy will be a streamer fan for life. Nice shot and fish. Quote
SteveM Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Nice fish! I had no idea browns were classified as fruit. Learn something new everyday. Quote
