FishFury Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 What would be a good stonefly nymph pattern try, in particular to the bow. Im mostly looking for some good colors and sizes. I have tried some stoneflys before but haven't had much success on them. And my first guess was that it either wasn't the right color or size. So what are some good ones? relk19 Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 I have had some success on a Kaufmann stone pattern, and have heard Jimmy Legs produce pretty well in the Bow as well. bjbailey Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 Agreed on jimmy legs for golden stones... Size 6 in the varigated chenille with a good amount of weight to get down.
