reevesr1 Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Anyone know of any place that rents pontoon boats? I did a google search, but came up empty. Which probably doesn't bode well...... Quote
murray Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Rick give me a shout, I've got two and the price is right. Murray Quote
brownonbow Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Pm sent. Anyone else looking to rent my pontoon just send a P.M. as I need to justify the purchase of this thing and can only seem to get out a couple times a year. Quote
reevesr1 Posted September 1, 2011 Author Posted September 1, 2011 Thanks for the replies folks! Quote
Taco Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Don't be hangin' a 9.9 off the back of that rental unit South Texas. Quote
gillraker Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 My buddy found this place online: http://www.bowfloat.ca/Home_Page.html Is anyone familiar with them? Any reviews? Looks like a fairly new operation. Gillraker Quote
reevesr1 Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 That's who I ended up using. The boat was great. You can either pick it up, or they will drop it off to you and shuttle. I was very happy with the service. Quote

BBBrownie Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 I realize this is an old thread, but does anyone know of a current pontoon rental option? Heading to Terrace near end of April, I have a boat, but a friend who is joining does not. If anyone has something reliable they are willing to rent out for 10 days or so, let me know! I know there are rental options in Smithers on the way, but we will not be in Smithers when a shop is open. Thanks! Quote
ÜberFly Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 The business referenced earlier in this post does (pretty sure none of the shops, sponsors or otherwise do) - maybe it's just a seasonal business... Also I think Sport's Rent, rents as well, I know they rent float tubes... Quote
BBBrownie Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 thx Uber, though the link is dead, after googling Bowfloat the company does in fact exist and have pontoons avialable for rent. Cheers. Quote
murray Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Try the University of Calgary outdoor store. In years past, I have rented from them. Murray Quote
SilverDoctor Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Thanks, I need to rent one this season as mine walked away at Hector lake last season. Quote
