Sean84 Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Well started out to be somthing way different a couple drinks later I didnt like the way it was going so it became this... Will it catch anything, that is a deer hair tail with a very bright light on it, if you couldnt tell. Quote
birchy Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 I'd say at the very least you'll be able to catch a Bull Trout or a small pike with it! Quote
SanJuanWorm Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 I love tying flies while drinkin beer. Sometimes you wake up the next morning and do the ol wtf. Will it work? Yes. Put some weight on it and fish it for cutties. Quote
TerryH Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 I have a rule that I follow religiously -- after any number of beers greater than zero, I will not go near my table saw nor my tying bench. I recommend this rule to everyone. Quote
bigalcal Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 My friend left the pub one night after a few beers, dropped by the liquor store, bought a mickey of whiskey, got home and decided to tie a few flies and enjoy his whiskey. The next day the wife said "You were drunk last night!!". He replied "No, I wasn't". He went back to sleep thinking "How the hell did she know I was drunk last night". Later in the day he went into his flytying room and there was the sweater he had worn the previous night, GLUED to his table. He had passed out, knocked the head cement over...and later woke up , stuck to the table, wriggled out of his sweater and went to bed!!!!! I would have loved to have seen him do that!!! Classic!! Note: He had to sand down and resurface the table!! Quote
Sean84 Posted April 29, 2011 Author Posted April 29, 2011 I dont even want to tell you guys what this was originally going to be. Quote

FraserN Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Any fly will catch fish if you fish it long enough. That said, I would stick to trying to catch a small pike with that unusual creation of yours. Quote
