  1. 23.75 to 24.5 inches how's that for a guess?
  2. find a lady that wants to fish 250 days a year with or without you. i was thinking something along the lines of intermediate or advanced tying skills. or how to avoid wind knots... grrr
  3. lol. i'd love to see you with you hat off. i havent fished this system, i have fished for grayling at bear, wedge and quarry. the largest that we got this year out of bear was approx 400mm (16inches) and the one i got out of quarry was probably about 10 inches. as for fish 'n feathers... so if read this correctly, they say that the ONLY way the large fish could have possibly disappeared is by poaching from anglers? so that in turn would mean that there is no way that the larger fish could have just gotten old and died and then because of the catch and release rule in place that there just too many fish in the water system to support large growth? i wonder if they have ever contemplated the aquarium theory? i inch of fish per gallon of tank. 1 gallon tank = 1 average sized gold fish or beta, 33 gallon tank = 33, 1 inch fish or 3, 10 inch fish. over crowding causes failure to thrive in a lot of cases. just a thought.
  4. oh god, that's even worse!! i dont think i have ever heard any guy say to any woman, 'keep your hands off my willie'
  5. ok. i'm being the pushy female again and redirecting this. knotlikely - ur up. copy and paste, add a material to the list and then pick the next person to add a material - send them a pm to let them know. thx. sorry for the take over
  6. uhhh, the fish has less hair??? j/k
  7. too bag it's country. hilarious is right.
  8. perhaps i shouldnt watch movies while i tie. 1 an hour isnt exactly production tying is it?
  9. i saw kf on tonight and sent a reminded pm. so if no post by tomorrow. let's pass the torch on. i'd like to see the second fly finished and i hate waiting.
  10. i tie year round but more so in the winter. i know with one place in particular the 'buying' is done in bulk by the 'buyers' upstairs and if i remember correctly, needs to be approved. sometimes it takes a long time to get stuff in, back order by the suppliers who supply the shops because the original manufacturer is behind. i was looking for elk last november. i finally found it in february and the place i normally shop just got it in and had been on order since last summer. try calling around before you hit a specific store. btw, what are you looking for?
  11. i dont know much about the topic but i know that the selling realtor has to split the fee earned with the agent of the buyers. what that percentage, i have no idea. i'm going to be selling in the near future and i'm not thrilled about the commission part either
  12. no, dont stop the thread... flytyer, would you like to pick someone else?
  13. a shameless lie. you probably have puppy and kitten pics decorating every room it's ok, you dont have to be embarassed.
  14. i have the panisonic FZ30 and they just came out with the FZ50 which is priced around 750.00 but could have come down since then. it is a psuedo slr. nice pics, great for landscapes etc. not waterproof. love the camera. just sold 4 pics at auction from it.
  15. i have small hands used to love trick or treating. got to the point that i ended up taking the 'little' kids around from the neighbourhood just so i could get candy still
  16. i ended up using long stringy ice / diamond dub strands because the lite brite is no longer in production and they didnt have gold left. ok, it looks like kungfool isnt going to play. shall we elect some other poor sod to add a material?
  17. good to see someone else sux too. i'm not the only one lol
  18. those are pretty dave. michaels has a good selection of shadow boxes. i prefer the classic salmon flies, but nice damsels or dragon flies look pretty cool under glass too
  19. i have to admit, i like the crunchies and the coffee crisp. strange... Wes, maybe ur just bigger
  20. best dubbing around - find one german sheppard type dog in undercoat shed, capture and brush. the oils in the hair work well to bind to thread, also fish seem to be attracted to it. humm, no wonder those guys take their dogs fishing
  21. thought i would bump this back up to the top for kungfool to add a material
